Me and my wife went there on Saturday night for a belated birthday meal. I’m glad we booked ahead as the restaurant was really busy. We had popadoms for our starter which were freshly made with plenty of onion salad and sauces. Our main meals were Chicken Dhansak and Chicken Karahi (pictured). Both were served piping hot and really tasty. Plenty of chicken in both of our dishes, so I can’t see what the other reviewers are complaining about??? We had rice and naan, again served piping hot and really tasty. The staff are friendly and polite and our meal was good value for money (£33.00). The only downside is that the restaurant is not licensed, but there’s an off licence two doors down, so it’s not really an issue. Will definitely be returning, in fact we’ve booked for 17th Feb and already looking forward to the meal. The chef and staff fully deserve 5 star review with one of the best tasting curries I’ve had for a long time!!!!

Really poor service. Ordered the stuffed mushroom which is outlined on the menu as a Vegetarian dish. When it arrived, it was filled with meat mince. When we asked the waiter about this, he was aware that the menu states this is a Vegetarian dish and that it was filled with meat. He said several other customers had complained about this and yet nothing had been done to change this on the menu or warn customers who order this. He offered no apology and was prepared to charge us full price until we asked that the charge for the stuffed mushroom be dropped. And even then, only a portion of the cost was removed from the bill.

Arrived earlier than expected. Packaged nicely with 2 complimentary poppadoms, mint sauce and onions salad. Ordered a chicken tikka naga, mushroom pilau rice and keema garlic naan for me and my partner. The naga was nice and spicy, packed with meat and full of flavour. Good portion of rice and a decent naan. We ordered a chicken tandoori balti for our children with a keema pilau rice and chips and both children loved the food. Again lots of meat and cooked perfectly.

I have just devoured a delicious "Fish Bhuna", which was brought home by my lovely wife from ML where she was dining with her friends and ex-colleagues. She ordered the dish to take away specifically for me, I understand there is no fish Bhuna as such on the menu, but when she requested the dish she was asked whether she wanted KP, salmon or cod; she chose cod... she knows my tastes well. I have never visited the restaurant but the chef's preparation was exactly tailored to my palate. Exceptionally rounded exotic spice flavours, finely chopped chillies and garlic with succulent whole chunks of cod in a copious, rich and textured sauce. Just perfect! I'm going to recommend this to everyone! The naan bread was a perfect...

Just had our first and last home delivery, food arrived early and hot which was great and the ONLY reason for 2 stars.

We both had biryani, lamb for me and chicken for my wife, the rice dish was ok but a little dry, the vegetable sauce smelled off (like rotten vegetables) when we opened the cartons and tasted burned.

Sheesh kebab was rubbery and onions and tasted off.

The keema naan... Disappointing

Honestly the highlight of the meal was the poppadoms and mint sauce.

Given the rave reviews I'd been given face to face, I was excited to try this venue as we'd been looking for a new Indian takeaway for a while, we're so...
