24 and 25 June 2021: Decided to pop into Compton after a bit of a walk along the canal... Never had been to the Swan when we've moored up at Compton and as it was a lovely day indeed, a pint certainly beckoned! It looks great and welcoming from the outside and the inside was nicely decorated and spacious too. Social distancing was maintained with table service necessary and applied. Nice to see the locals inside enjoying their pub no doubt.. There are lots of outdoors seating and tables with umbrellas as well just in case of rain or too much of the sun... As an ale drinker, the Old Empire IPA pint was perfectly kept, nicely chilled and deliciously squaffable..the McCoy's cheese and onion crisps were perfect with my pints as well... A big thank you to Ash and Steph for your amazing cheerful welcome and your smiling service as well, even though you were masked when serving...your eyes smiled broadly still... Thanks guys and to all the other staff as well...definitely recommend your Swan to all us canal boaters. Will be back again at some point in the future when chugging by on the canal. Until then, stay safe and take care!

Lovely unspoilt pub. Small comfortable lounge, traditional stone floored bar for putting the world to rights and a much larger rear room for darts, dominoes and pub quizzes off. This is a black country pub where a spade is called a spade. If you can leave PC outside, come in, order a pint, pull up a stool and enjoy a natter. Highly recommended for those of us who enjoy a good old fashioned Bonks Boozer!

A pub with two halves, the snug comfortable and cosy, the bar as it has been for years long wooden seats tiled floor awaiting clocking off time. Enjoyed both sides as our second visit we had dogs, who were welcomed with water bowl and treats on the bar. Beer good but sadly out of snacks on our visits. Well worth a visit.

A small traditional real ale pub. Always a good selection of draught beers served perfectly. The usual lagers, wines, and spirits also available. And bar snacks. Friendly staff and several cosy rooms to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Plus a dart board in the back room.
