“Share details of your own experience at this place”, Google asks. I cannot. Like all good nights out, they exist in my mind as a white haze of good company, great music, and a quantity (not to be disclosed publicly) of very enjoyable alcohol. “Let’s not be unrealistic,” I tell myself. “No one is going to believe your review if every breath you’ve taken on the premises forces you into elation”... but, and I think this is a really important point to make to people reading this on the internet: do I think I could’ve had a better night elsewhere, or done better myself? Absolutely not.

The service is always friendly and never shy away from a challenge if addressed respectfully, the decor is atmospheric, the music choices always interesting and I’ve never ever left the bar in a bad mood. If you think that alone doesn’t deserve 5 stars, then I don’t know how to help you.

I encourage you to give the place your full attention, and I’m sure they’ll appreciate you spending some...

We only intended to have one drink here on our Saturday night out but ended up enjoying several pints each , as well as really tasty sandwiches .

Lovely friendly atmosphere . Friendly and efficient bar staff . Nice and warm inside on this occasion . Spent the rest of our evening here.

Drinks and food not cheap , but drinks kept well and food better value than it looked on the menu as it included a drink as well. The sandwiches were absolutely fantastic tasting, well presented . Also came with a bowl of hand made crisps and bowl of dressed salad. Really glad we decided to try the food and would certainly order again when next visiting Bottles.

Treated disgracefully!

Went for a drink on Saturday night 13/10/18. After having 3 drinks and enjoying the night, My friend was set upon by a drunk yob. On approaching the bouncer we were held outside without our drinks while he allowed them to finish their drinks. On asking the bouncer why we were outside and they were allowed to remain, he commented I was "annoying" him. What was clearly evident was that these yobs were friends of the bouncer and a nice handshake on the way out confirmed that.
