My friends and I visited Herbert’s Yard last night, excited to try the popular Hangry Moose Burgers. We arrived to find the place buzzing with activity, with eight different food vendors and the Hangry Moose having one of the biggest queues. Despite the rainy weather, we queued up and didn't mind too much as we were excited for the food. We waited patiently for 20-25 minutes to place our order, and then an additional 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Although we appreciated that the restaurant was busy, the wait was quite long. When our food finally arrived, we were excited to dig in. We had ordered the 2 x DBS burger (one being a double) and the Tyson burger between the three of us. The presentation looked great, and we sat down immediately to eat. However, we were disappointed to find that the quality of the food did not meet our expectations. While the burger was warm, it was not hot, and the curly fries were cold. We spent £42 on food and waited a total of 45 minutes for our order, only to be served food that was basically cold. If we knew what the food was going to be like, we would have eaten at one of the other vendors, as we also had food from the fried chicken, pizza, and East Asian street food vendors, and they were all great. We debated going back to say something, but as we had already waited so long, we decided not to. There were a few reasons for this; there were so many people standing around the Hangry Moose, waiting for their food, if we had complained, it would have reflected badly on us. If we had requested fresh fries, it would have caused further delay, and the burgers would have gotten even colder. We had heard so many good things about the Hangry Moose, and the long queue was a reflection of how popular it was. However, we were disappointed that the food didn't live up to the hype. It's a shame that we had to wait so long for our food only to be let down by the quality. Despite this, we understand that food can be subjective, and others may have a different experience. We feel that if we had gone at a quieter time, maybe the food they were making would have been of higher quality. This is just an assumption, and we may have caught them on a bad day. We hope that the restaurant can take our feedback into consideration and work on improving the quality of their food, especially during peak hours when the restaurant is at its busiest. Overall, we were hoping for more from the Hangry Moose Burgers and fries, and unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. (Not all of the pictures were not taken by us and are not ours, they are taken from social media pages belonging to the vendors and their partners and were the reason for us trying their food). ***Update***: Since visiting Herbert’s Yard, I've been to Hangry Moose in Bromsgrove several times, and each visit has been great. The food quality has been consistently good, making it a more enjoyable experience overall.

Disappointed: I've been patiently waiting to visit Hangry Moose for well over a year. So as it was my Son's Birthday we decided to undertake the 70 minute round trip tonight (Wednesday 17th April 24 7:35) to finally experience these amazing burgers. Unfortunately our excitement was immediately dampened, as due to short staffing issues there were no Chicken Tenders, no Kebabs or any Sides on offer apart from House Fries! So we just had Burgers & Fries! After watching the 'Food Review Club' videos I was really looking forward to trying the '9Seven' (I even added an extra patty) and although there wasn't anything wrong with the Burger it just didn't hit the spot. The flavour seemed to be lacking especially when it came to the Onion Relish & Baconaise...it even looked a little messy (see photo). My Son also had a 9Seven and completely agreed with me. My wife had the MapleMoose and commented that it needed more sauce. I'm in my 50's and have been eating Burgers for many years now and was hoping this was going to be 'The One'..... Unfortunately my search continues! UPDATE to Owners Response: I can't believe your comments to myself and especially my son are so unnecessarily aggressive, especially as we haven't actually said anything bad about your food. We were just disappointed by your obvious lack of management skills and the forethought to organise enough staff to run your business properly and also to inform potential customers on your Facebook page about the reduced menu. I believe they call you 'Big Dave'... maybe you should re-arrange those letters and change your name to 'Give Bad'...just like your customer service !

Such a good place to grab a bite to eat! Great concept with the food van inside and bench seating with an outdoorsy feel but there's a roof over your head and the overhead heaters are a nice touch on a chilly night. Decor is trendy and modern, with a few quirky features. Great selection on the menu and the food is fresh, hot and absolutely amazing! We had buttermilk tenders which were just perfect with light crispy perfectly seasoned batter and super juicy chicken inside. And the Hangry Tyson burger which was possibly the best burger weve ever tasted. A flavour combo like nothing weve had before. Fries were also great. Staff all seemed happy to be there, chatty and smiling which is always nice to see and really lifts the atmosphere. Overall its top quality food being served in a funky venue with great service. Highly recommend.

Are you are looking for a dish that will leave your taste buds buzzing with anticipation of the next bite? Well, look no further than the DBS Moose 5oz handmade beef patty at The Hangry Moose in Stourbridge!

This stunning dish features a perfectly charred beef patty, topped with maple bacon, Monterey Jack cheese, pineapple, crispy fried onions, shredded lettuce, and a delectable house sauce and BBQ sauce, all served up on a delicious brioche bun.

One bite of this flavor-packed burger and you'll be hooked. The sweet and savory flavors of the beef and bacon are perfectly balanced with the tanginess of the pineapple and BBQ sauce, while the crispy fried onions add a satisfying crunch to every bite.

But what really sets this dish apart is the attention to detail in its preparation. Each ingredient is carefully chosen to create a perfectly balanced flavor profile that will have you savoring every bite. And the pop-up kitchen setting at The Railway in Stourbridge adds an extra element of excitement to the experience.

But wait! That's not it. It's doesn't end there. We haven't even told you about the fries.

My choice: Pig Whizz!

These seasoned curly fries are elevated to a whole new level of deliciousness with the addition of gooey cheese whizz and tangy house BBQ sauce, which perfectly complement the crispy texture of the fries.

But what really takes this dish to the next level is the chopped maple bacon, which adds a smoky depth of flavor and an irresistible aroma that will have your mouth watering.

These are the ultimate indulgence for those who have tried the best of the best already and looking for something special. From the irresistible aroma of sizzling bacon to the satisfying crunch of each curly fry, this dish is a true feast for the senses.

So why wait? Head to The Hangry Moose pop-up kitchen at The Railway in Stourbridge today and treat yourself to a feast - your taste buds...
