Booked a table for 7:30pm for dinner and quiz. Told only after already buying drinks that we couldn’t order food for a while due to a large Christmas party, and that the staff would let us know when we could order. Had to ask again at 8:55pm at which point we were told we wouldn’t be getting any food that evening, as the backlog was too bad and the kitchen closed at 9pm. Pointed out that was poor not to have informed us ahead of time, as we were led to believe we’d be able to order eventually; also, I specifically booked to have dinner…. We would have gone elsewhere, if we’d known. I would have been understanding had the staff seemed in any way bothered, but what I found most appalling was the complete disinterest and lack of apology from members of staff. Half-mumbled excuses and not once did I hear the word ‘sorry’. One female employee outright ignored us when we asked for an update on the food situation. I thought even a single free bag of crisps would have been a nice gesture for the inconvenience...! Come on people, customer service is not that hard (I used to waitress). As it was, we only stayed for the quiz and 100% will not be going back. This used to be a lovely pub but the customer service really lets it down these days. So many great pubs in Worcester, I wouldn’t bother with this...

Very disappointing, we went here for Sunday lunch, we can't usually afford to eat out but it was a special occasion, a bit of a treat. We both ordered roast beef with all the trimmings, there wasn't much choice actually it was beef or turkey. When the food arrived it looked pretty good I couldn't wait to tuck in. Can you imagine my disappointment when after asking the waiter twice for horseradish he said they didn't have any, like it was no big deal, WELL IT WAS A HUGE DEAL TO ME!! Actually if I'd known I would have had the turkey because for me the whole meal was tasteless. I told the waiter i was very disappointed and asked him to pass that on.  Clearly management either chose to ignore my complaint or never got the message. Obviously a poorly ran place as there was also no toilet paper in the gents (in either cubicle) and my partner had to go and ask for some. Overall not very friendly staff apart from the young girl on the till who took my payment and asked if I wanted to add anything else to my bill, I explained my dissatisfaction and she was very apologetic and professional (manager in the background still ignoring my complaint). Shame on you Greene King, I wouldn't...

Absolutely shocking customer service...caraboo cup on they shut the kitchen...ordered some food to eat outside and the manager went ballistic.. very very unprofessional, by craig... have never had a problem with this before in any marstons pub that has a closed kitchen. Was told to leave so 8 of us went across the road and spent money over there........have to edit review as I cannot comment on the talbots comments..dont know why u can't reply to the buisness comments ...for starters I was driving and was on Coca-Cola..makes a change...but staff where so aggressive not the table...Best thing was I only joined the table when food turned up....shocking shocking pub....but I will say they probably under pressure and couldn't cope with numbers that's why they...

So passionately to make sure you get the best experience. We love the dinner; king prawn and avocado coctail was outstanding, tasty and fresh, the drinks were very refreshing, with the right temperature, well served. You can order from the table with mobile application wich is handy. Friendly staff, excellent garden; clean, organized, nice decor. Pet friendly. In the week open till 23:00.Friday and Saturday till 12pm.

Dropped in on Sunday evening for a drink and something to eat. Real ale selection to please Igor and a lovely wine for me to go with freshly cooked steak and chips and a pie and chips. Both excellent and the charming company of Gary the cat (who is no nuisance at mealtimes unlike my own tribe!). We will eat at The Talbot again.

We have been staying staying next to the Talbot and have had a few meals and drinks there. Today we had the Sunday Roast and WOW spectacular! The Yorkshire puds were to die for. Wish we were staying for another week to have them next Sunday. Great Pub great atmosphere and the people we met were lovely!!
