I’ve spent the last 15 hours throwing up and in the bathroom and I am still unwell, hours after food from This restaurant. This is our local and we are regulars but we will never eat here again following this experience. We called when they opened not to ask for anything but to make them aware as due to what I’d eaten that day, we could narrow it down to a single dish which made me unwell and we thought they should know. It’s my regular dish and the sauce tasted different when I ate it, but I thought they’d just changed the recipe. I’d eaten with friends (exact same food) for brunch and this was the only dish we had different on our takeout.
The way they spoke to my partner over the phone when he called to make them aware (and again he said he wasn’t looking for compensation) was genuinely disgusting and VERY poor customer service accusing us of lying despite explaining how we’d worked out the source.

Despite other reviews, I thought the staff were friendly, although they did bring out the wrong main for my partner, mistakes happen and it was quickly resolved.
The reason for the 1 star rating is based on the quality of the food and it's value for money. The food quality was no better than the kind you would get in an Iceland store - frozen and to be chucked in the oven for 20 minutes.

Ordered from here a number of times but tonight will be the last. I placed my order at around 19:40 and my food didn’t arrive until 21:35. I called the takeaway to ask what was going on and they said that the food was on its way at around 20:55. I rang back to ask for a refund as I was past hunger and it was late.
