I have been calling at Froggies opposite the Co-op in Lombard St Stourport- on -Severn for the past 5 years mainly on Saturdays for a coffee and chat with the regulars. I am always assured of a warm and friendly welcome by cheerful staff who take my order and bring it out to me. It's a great place for meeting friends over Breakfast/lunch in a very clean and tastefully decorated dining room with an outside area for those who like to take their refreshments Al Fresco style. The food is nicely prepared, wholesome and well presented from an extensive menu, a well organised takeaway and loyalty card system is a bonus. I note that customers come from far and wide to dine at Froggies, so for me that speaks volumes. I'm probably preaching to the converted for those who already use Froggies but for those who haven't had the pleasure I recommend this Cafe, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Last visit Saturday 2nd September 2023...
Read moreStopped in for lunch, not overly impressed. As someone who managed a catering van/café I thought the quality of food was low. I do enjoy thick chips but there was just no fluffiness to them at all they were really dry and some undercooked slightly. Had a sausage, bacon & egg sandwich. Wanted crispy well done bacon and there was zero crispiness to it all and ALOT of fat which made up most of the bacon. A very tiny bit of salad which cost £1 considering how little there was it should have just been free, the lettuce was all brown around the edge and soggy. Didn't seem fresh. I'm a food lover and will pretty much eat anything but I left most of my food and felt disappointed. This is the second time I went to this café, and had the same experience last time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt but clearly it wasn't a one off. But the positive thing is that it looks nice...
Read moreI just read the last review and thought how bizarre to rate a place with one star because you have never been there! Some people just don't get it. Personally I love froggies. I particularly like the bacon and egg baguettes, which my partner and I treat ourselves to on our day off. The staff are always friendly and polite, the place is always clean and the food cooked fresh to order. Going to pop in tomorrow for hot pork roll as have been recommended by my neighbour. I personally don't use co op cafe as I like to support independent businesses, they make up our high streets, but I won't be giving co op one star just because I've never...
