Treasure Island is a fantastic small, family-run amusement park that offers a fun, nostalgic day out for families of all ages. It has a welcoming, laid-back vibe, with plenty of rides to suit everyone—from young children to thrill-seeking adults. Rather than paying a set entrance fee, you buy tokens for the rides, which makes it flexible and budget-friendly. We purchased 30 tokens for around £20, and each ride costs between 2 to 3 tokens, depending on the attraction. This system is great because you only pay for what you want to do. The park is especially perfect for kids, with a good variety of age-appropriate rides. There’s also a charming arcade on-site, adding to the fun, and the whole place is set against some lovely scenery which makes for a pleasant atmosphere while you’re walking around or taking a break. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch that you often don’t find at larger theme parks. You can really tell it’s a family-run business, and they take pride in making sure guests have a great time. All in all, Treasure Island is a hidden gem—ideal for a few hours of family fun without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

It's a nice place to visit and it not being far away for us, with the weather being decent it made for a lovely day out and change of scenery. There is amusement for children of different ages, but can end up spending alot, but about the same for most days out. There are still a few older areas but most of the attractions have been updated. There is easy access parking to be near the main bits. Lovely park areas for young ones if not ones for fairs and arcades. Lots of fast food places if you not having a picnic, of which there are some nice spaces to have picnic and play. Overall we found it nice day out with lots for each to do and majority of the main town quite tidy and clean. Lovely staff at all the places we went being friendly and helpful. If you have a bit of money to spend the kids will be happy and fully enjoy all the things they can do. Will definitely visit again xx

Honestly from the reviews I came here not expecting very much. But wow, i was proved wrong, all rides/machines were working, even for a bank holiday there were hardly any queues, the waltzers are awesome, even if I did stupidly put my sunglasses on my head and they flew off hand broke... DOH! Ride tokens are good value for money, we expected to spend alot more than we did. The pub next to the fair was rammed, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. There was an half hour wait for food which we didn't mind as it was a busy bank holiday lunch time, my expectations were food is going to be rushed and thrown together, again proved wrong, cooked to perfection and a very enjoyable tasty meal. The only downside I felt was the bumper cars didn't last long enough but that honestly is my only gripe of the day. Definitely all the fun of the fair. Would recommend to everyone.

FOR YOUR SAFETY STAY AWAY! How this place gets past health and safety is beyond me!! If I could give it less stars I probably would have. I remember going here as a kid and it being a bit run down, but this was beyond the joke! I have a 3 year old and a 2.5 year old. There was a sign to the dragon ride which stated if you were below the line then you can ride if you are with an adult. I asked if it's ok with the kids the age they are and the attendant said yes as long as there's an adult with them. I was trying to get my 2.5 year old in and next to me, ride took off pretty much straight away, at which point I realized the bar is literally touching his nose! I had to wedge the bar with my foot and brace him and the bar to stop him hitting his face off it! The ride was pretty fast, especially in the corners, my kid is a total speed freak and luckily loved it, but the I'll fitting bar was very worrying at such speeds!

With last tokens we went In the ''fun'' house, plastered with Disney characters and blasting out Disney music. Only had enough tokens for me to go in with them, so with two eager young kids I went trying to follow them. I was expecting a soft play environment; I got wood, metal, glass and broken glass with filthy algea filled stagnant water. There was a maze of glass panels upstairs, my 3 year old who had got a ahead of me ran face first into one!! So I had tears once up there. Then we get presented with a metal slide with a big warning sign to keep arms tucked in and ''use at your own risk!! If you do not want to take the risk, go back the way you came" the top edge of the wall above the slide was filled with detritus including shards of glass, I couldn't believe it! Back the way we came meant back round all those panels of glass, so we risked the slide. On the way down something snagged a zip on my backpack which is disconcerting in itself. The kids then jumped into the middle of a big rotating drum, like a hamster wheel. Luckily dad was down there to meet us. The spinning drum was surrounded by draught excluder type brushes which I was having to panic about every time the kids fingers went anywhere near it! Their dad said to me after I was right to panic as that would have easily caught their fingers. Then to top it all off there was a small lilly pad stepping stone area, filled with stagnant filthy water that my 3 year old put his feet into.

How this place is going and hasn't been sued to hell is a miracle!!! We had some level of enjoyment looking around, and of course the kids enjoyed themselves as everything looks fun to kids that age, but I came away feeling like a negligent parent for taking them there! I also came away skint as the dragon ride, dodgems and the fun house (ahem I mean house of horrors) cost £20! Lots of other lovely things to do in the area for kids, farm parks, and ''little big town''. Look after your families money and health and...

Visited here today 11th may 2016 the fair is ok however there seems to be lots of machines in and around that simply don't work this I suppose was not the end of the world just needs some money spent on the place! The biggest problem was when we decided to use the toilets and change our 2 year old the only toilets are alittle walk away from the fair itself the other side of the car park there are no walk ways so it's alittle bit of take your life into your own hands! The day was a 27 degree day and as you can imagine it was busy the men's and ladies toilets were horrific stunk like pss and when going in there was pss all over the floor looked like a pack of dogs had gone in and left to do as they pleased! The most horrible experience was when we went to change my son we opened the door took one look and turned away I wouldn't dream of taking my son inside that st hole of a place they call a baby changing room the nappy disposal bin was over flowing with dirty nappies when approaching a member of staff about this issue it was clear he didn't give two fks I guess this place is about making as much money as possible and the toilets are too far away to be anyone's problem and they make no money from this if you visit see if you have a problem changing a note or obtaining tokens for the rides because I garrentee you will have no problem finding someone to take...

The major reason for only two stars is due to an obvious lack of upkeep here. The arcade being the point in case. The gun games were often out of calibration and many units had a wide range of minor if not major faults.

As a pinball fanatic I was saddened to find that out of the two pinball machines only one was turned on. The pinball machine turned on, Elvis, had a broken scoreboard display and a sticky or often stuck right flipper. So these pinball machines need to be working.

Myself and my friend, also a pinball fan, having been disappointed by the phone ball machines tried to have a two player gun game on razing storm. Only to find player two gun needs calibration. It was so far off calibration it was unusable as the gun sight showed it to be at the far edges of the screen.

These are the major repairs that I encountered and remember looking back but I can ensure you there are many more.

My friend who lives near the arcade has been attempting to come play the pinball machines here all winter and told me he has been waiting months hoping that one day they will be both in working order so that he may attempt to set some high scores. I too wish they were working so I could take up the challenge of beating the local boys scores on their local pinball machines.

If more care and attention was paid I am sure this place could warrant a more...
