We had a great day out at playland yesterday 13/9/20.. we brought the kids out as it was beautiful weather and didnt want them spending it indoors on their devices.. even the kids are glad they came! They said it made a nice change, i have to agree. We first arrived and went to get some food and beverages as it was lunchtime. The staff were great and friendly but The food i have to say as a chef, could be much better for what they are charging the chips were like soggy cardboard and the cheeseburger was very bland. My guess is the budget is tight and so get the cheapest money can buy from their suppliers .. however it didnt spoil the day.. we continued enjoying ourselves as the kids played golf and went on the bumper boats etc.. go karts are very fun and value for money indeed.. i would go myself just for that.. i would recommend a visit if you go through Stourport as its free entry into the park and fun...
Read moreWent for the afternoon and parked on the overspill by the river. Be sure to change or the just park app but reasonably priced parking at £4 for 4 hours which is enough time. Lovely open space for picnics. Nice to see lot of bins and overall very clean and tidy with no litter. The Playland gun park great for toddlers and younger kids. You buy tokens and use those for the rides. In my opinion for this type of place reasonably priced and most rides don't charge if parent goes on as well. Ice cream etc all priced as you would expect but not totally over the top. All in with parking and ice creams slush puppy and rides probably spent just over £20 for the three of us for the afternoon which I think is good value. There is a play park for the kids which is free as well. If a sunny day and stuck what to do I'd recommend this place. We go every year and always...
Read moreI was unfortunately a bit disappointed from our visit. The place is showing it’s age now & could do with some modernisation. We went on a weekend and it wasn’t too busy earlier on in the day. By the time we left in the early afternoon it was very busy so I’d recommend getting there in the morning. The rides are basic. Mostly 2-3 tokens each (14 tokens for £10). This quickly adds up to mean you’re spending a fair bit overall. The big slide and the rings in the water were the kids favourite. The bouncy castle was inflated and closed. Not enough staff apparently (though there were 3 standing by the slide ride!). The amusement arcade was completely full of the 2p machines. Not exactly a wide range for kids! Maybe I’d give it another chance in the summer when the splash pad is open. But wouldn’t...
