My scenario: First time in Kiddy, trains cancelled and I have 15% battery. I google for a local pub to take my stress away and it tells me this one. Off I go. I nervously walk in, clearly not a regular. I order and take a seat at the bar. I cheekily ask the barman to charge my phone he was more than happy to. I get chatting slowly but surely, to the people around me and feel comfortable and welcomed. It’s been a while since I felt this feeling. Pub has recently been taken over once I got talking to people I found this out, has great offers on drinks and great entertainment to come. All in all I want to thank Shane and Carl especially and I wish you well in your future endeavours and happy to help where I can. Give this place a go 🍻

Read moreI don't know if the landlady will remember me but me and my partner at the time last August got stranded in kidderminster with no where to go. She completely went above and beyond being a landlady, she helped us with a hotel, phone numbers, contacts, we had no money had hardly any sleep we were so tired, she allowed us to store things in her back room and gave us coffee as we had no money left.
