Joe's Bagel and Grill — Restaurant in Aberdeen Township

This is my new bagel spot. They make a good size bagel. I love a good pork roll egg and cheese and they make a great one! Check it out.

UPDATE: I usually float between a few bagel stores in the area in an effort to help as many local businesses as I can. I stopped in the store today and I couldn't help but pay a compliment to the women behind the counter and the cook. No matter what is going on in there, no matter how busy or hectic it may get, they manage to maintain a good positive demeanor, pleasant with me every time I come in. Two things that keep me going to a business: 1) if the product is good and 2) the personality and service that's provided by the staff. I have a keen eye for customer service and these women are on point. Although I don't ordinarily interact with the cook when I come in, I must also pay him a compliment as well. He makes a very well constructed sandwich. He puts together a sandwich, how you would want to make it for yourself at home. Mr/Mrs Owner of Joe's Bagel and Grill, I hope you see this and recognize your people in the Cliffwood location. If I had a business, these are the kind of people I'd want working for me. I’m sorry, but the place is filthy and it skeeved me out so bad I threw out almost my entire meal and left. I had some time to kill so I figured I’d sit down and eat, well they left the door open to the back room (assuming kitchen/storage/prep) and I was horrified… it looked like a health hazard. After that realization, I started really looking around and the place is absolutely dirty… it looks like it hasn’t actually been mopped in months, build up and dirt all over the counters that are used by customers, tables that look like they’ve never been wiped down. This is all by the back seating btw. I also went to use the bathroom and immediately walked out and gagged at the site of it. The entire fridge in the front is out of commission and it seems like it’s just being used for storage now, the staff seems uninterested and not very helpful and before throwing out 75%, it wasn’t very good to begin with. Lastly, how is a buttered bagel, a turkey club and two juices $23…...

I always loved going here and ordered today. Unfortunately I ordered the sandbar wrap but with no hot sauce because I have a stomach condition. Usually I always get it with no hot sauce and its made with NO hot sauce, but today i asked for no hot sauce and it was FILLLED with it. I didnt notice and took a bite and cannot eat this Unfortunately. My partner also ordered a quesadilla and wasn't provided with the salsa/sour cream that its supposed to come with and the quesadilla was very dry and disappointing. Im sure they are probably super busy this morning, but if someone has a special request maybe for dietary reasons please make sure that it is applied to the order.

The food here is always delicious so I hope this is a one time thing but wanted to post this review so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. If the food is a bit pricey already, please respect peoples requests. I notice that there are not so good reviews on here, and this place used to have the...
