If you want Mexican food in Aberdeen, go to Qdoba or Guadalajara. Food and service was severely lacking, would give it negative stars if possible. All the positive reviews seem like a lie. First, the tortilla chips are not endless because that required the servers to actually come check on you. 2nd, we waited more than 15 minutes to order the food and almost 30 minutes before food came out. At least 2 groups after us had probably ordered before us. The final kicker is the food was cold to luke warm, it was like the food had to be resuscitated. When we asked someone (cashier or person in front), he told us they were busy and that they might not be free then said he would go find them. I've never heard anyone say that, I can see it was busy but that was in bad taste. The food was overly salty as well and I didn't even get a "Chile Relleno", it was so sad looking. I thought the pepper was covered in sauce or something so i moved it around and still it was just a hot mess of cheese sauce with bits of meat in it. I asked my server if this is Chile Relleno and I believe she didn't want to admit to me that this isn't it (I'm not Mexican, but I'm also not that uncultured that I don't know what it looks like). I've had many Chile Rellenos and poblano peppers, but this was not it. AND my friend found some hair in her Spanish rice, that was the last straw. I did not eat most of my food because I enjoyed it, but because I waited so long that I was starving. Again, I understand that it takes longer when it's busy on Fridays but how could they serve the food luke-warm/cold on a cold night. Will not return and will not give it a second chance when I can go to Guadalajara for the same type of food. In my hometown, some of the restaurant staff were known as rude af for their service...but at least the food...

From Minnesota, came down to South Dakota for work, randomly came across this restaurant on google searching for eats, i totally recommend checking this place out, real relaxed Mexican spot, great food, I had the Californian burrito which was massive and exceptionally good, definitely will get you full. Comes out quick and hot! Agua de horchata was good, not too sweet, not too plain. They also give a basket of tortilla chips and they give you a lot! Food is pretty cheap as well, my meal was only about 15$. The people working here, (mostly Mexican people) are great, and very attentive to your every needs. Despite the fact I came in on a hot day and their AC system was broken down, I totally loved this place and would recommend anyone to give it a try! Nothing to complain about, only thing that would make this place even better was a nice loud sound system for music, but that’s just me being picky. Again, please give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed. Show some love to my Mexican folks ❤️🇲🇽 Also, despite the AC system being broken and it being quite hot inside, never once did I see any of the employees remove their face masks, not once! I once worked as a server and it can get quite hot and tiring working, especially when working in the hot kitchen, so I notice these little things and I must say I...
Read moreWe told waiter twice, my wife cannot have beef. She ordered a combination with pork instead of beef, got beef over the top anyhow. Waiter was argumentative instead of simply correcting the issue, saying we didn't say anything about beef when we had, twice. He failed to bring back a refilled soda. I received my food, which visually looked good, but portions were quite small and the taste was not good. Even the chips and salsa were severely underwhelming. Salsa is blended, no chunks, and ridiculously mild. Chips are store bought, not made on location. Needless to say, we gave up waiting for my wife's corrected dish. Waiter, while handing me the bill for my combo and a drink, continued to argue, then had the nerve to tell me not to talk to him like I did when I said we had told him repeatedly about the beef. We will NEVER be back and strongly recommend others avoid the place. I heard it used to be great, but in our experience, it was the worse service we have EVER had. Taco Bell is better, hands down. If you like argumentative waiters, this is your place. If you want a restaurant that treats customers with...
