Went there the day after they reopened Traveling hungry from not eating all day due to being busy I ordered 2 cheeseburgers add lettuce Mac sauce and 1 1/4lb w cheese also add lettuce Mac sauce and an ice coffee I asked 1 cream 1 sugar almost black she nodded and I thanked her I paid extra for the Mac sauce n requests 10$!!! for a 1/4lber burger meal paid n thanked them for my food 3min total I’m out the gate but again I’m traveling n in a hurry so I decided to eat in the parking lot I hand my son his burger I handed My wife hers and I opened mine and sure enough no Mac sauce but there is a huge glob of Mayo n I almost vomited it was so much Mayo just looking at it obnoxious amount of Mayo Checked the other burgers again no lettuce no Mac sauce and when I tasted the coffee n it was pure milk n sugar I had enough idc about money And tbh I added a legit 5$ to my 3 burger order adding all these add ons again the money Diddnt matter I was hungry and if I’m willing to pay n they agree to do it n charge me it shouldn’t be a problem it’s the principle that upset me I took my time spoke slowly confirmed the order with the person taking it This was a deliberate lack of care for the customer and I complained And the manager very nicely told me come inside we’ll make a fresh one for you … Well after I waited 10-15min for an order they were able to fill In like 2-3min. Moments prior I realized they were just messing with me and I ran out of time to even be able to eat and canceled my order. Literally and I mean literally the only two things this team was able to Get right we’re the French fried and the refund. They been closed for construction for a while This is my first memory of them since they reopened and as a legit consumer I assure you ….. Read moreThe general manager, Julissa, at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. There were several issues with my kiosk order, which I attempted to address at the counter. There were 4 employees (some on duty, some obviously off duty) standing around chit-chatting, none of which bothered to acknowledge me until I interrupted by saying “excuse me.” The receipt from my kiosk order printed out blank and I just wanted to ensure it had gone through. They then proceeded to tell me that the Frozen Lemonade that I had ordered on their kiosk was not a product they carried and did I want a regular lemonade. I was slightly disappointed in this, but ultimately decided that would fine and asked if there was a difference in price. Another of the employees went over to the kiosk to find the unavailable item I had attempted to purchase and the GM shouted a question to her from across the restaurant. When I attempted to answer that question for her, she rudely replied to me, “I’m not speaking to YOU, I’m TRYING to ask my coworker a question.” The other employee could not find the item until I walked her through it on the kiosk, during which time I overheard the GM saying on the phone to someone that a “customer is about to chew my head off.” Extremely unprofessional. The other worker then told me the regular lemonade was less expensive than the frozen lemonade, which was clearly untrue, as evidenced by my photos included. When I stated this to the GM, she was clearly irritated, rudely refunded my entire drink, did not offer to replace it with something else, and walked away without the number for corporate I requested numerous times. I then had to ask twice for someone else to ring me up for a new drink to go with my meal and once again engage with the GM for the phone number I had requested. Read moreHoly Moly... Really??? I stayed away from Micky D's for years. Their Strawberry ice cream sundaes pulled me back in about 3 months ago. Once again, I went there tonight at 9:45 only to be told the ice cream machine was broke AGAIN. How many times can this machine break? Its also funny how it seems if I get there before 9 it works.. but it always breaks between 9:30 -10. Whomever runs this place (DM, RM) needs to shut the doors, fix EVERYTHING that needs to be fixed... Starting with the staff. Up to and most definitely including the manager. I live close to this place, not one person I know who goes there, will use the drive thru. 85% of the order will be wrong or things missing. The Hazlet McDonald's is on the ball. I haven't ever had a problem there. Or the one in Atl Highlands. But this store here in Cliffwood Beach lacks so so much. I'm not saying their jobs arent hard or stressful AT TIMES but lets face it, its not rocket science. Everyone has a bad day... even a bad week. But this place is ridiculous. It would be amusing if it wasn't so sad. Last thing, This is the very first bad review I have ever written. Unfortunately this place is bad enough I had to. Your ice cream is good but not worth everything else I've dealt with in the short 3 months I came back. I havent even scratched the surface with the way your customers are spoken to. Ill take the extra 10 mins next time, drive right by you to go get ice cream at a place where the ice cream machine doesn't break every other week.
