Go Get The Pho — Restaurant in Aberdeen

Stopped here, thinking it would be a tasty and quick bahn mi sandwich and egg rolls during our drive through Aberdeen. For starters, my husband waited around 10 minutes to put in an order, as they helped phone orders and other people before him, some that had arrived after him as well. It took more than an hour to receive the 3 bahn mi sandwiches and 2 egg rolls for takeout.

I'm disappointed in the extreme wait, I'm disappointed in the egg rolls, they were lukewarm/cold throughout. I would have expected something that took so long to have come out hot and fresh. They weren't what I expected an egg roll to be, but more like a pork fried spring roll.

The bahn mi, was good. Bread was good, pork and egg was good. It wasn't stellar, it did need a bit more of the sauce on it. The jalapenos were spicy, that was good. My husband asked for no cucumber, but still received some cucumber. Overall, the bahn mi was ok. Unfortunately we won't be back again as this was a very long wait for something that should not take that long. We were heading to Lacey Wa after this and ultimately to Seattle tonight so this is a very long stop for takeout that has significantly delayed our arrival time.

My husband is nicer than I, as I would have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere after about 40 mins of waiting for 3 sandwiches. And we waited much...

I love how responsive the owner has been on all the reviews it shows a very clear drive to make a pleasant experience for everyone and from what I’ve heard they want to do it properly which I support 100% there’s a big lack of quality food in this town that nobody seems to actuallly understand and MOST of the food in the harbor seems subpar and after seeing the progress on the place everyday as I walk past I know that this place is striving to make good food good environment and wants to provide more variety to the harbor than what’s currently available and that’s immensely admirable to me the Asian market in this town has been cornered by subpar food that can be EASILY out done in other towns and I’m glad we have a new competitor in the harbor my only hope is that they join DoorDash so I can support the business without having to go in I would be happy to pay...

What a let down. I was really hoping for a good pho place without having to drive all the way to Olympia, but this isn't it.

The food honestly tastes like they've stopped caring, despite only being open a week; the pho broth tasted like it was out of a jar, and the noodles were overcooked. The fried rice had what was obviously a frozen store bought vegetable mix in it, with a ton of cilantro on top to try and make it look nice. The bhan mi wasn't bad, although I had to constantly pull thick cilantro stalks out of it.

There's also still other problems; it took forever to get our order placed and receive food, and the forks and chop sticks are stored at the table in such a way that it's nearly impossible not to touch the business end of several of them when pulling a set out.

I won't be going again. This was a real let down after waiting so long for this...
