I wanted to post this review through the customer service survey on the receipt but I lost the receipt. My husband and I went to the Golden corral in Aberdeen probably close to 2 weeks ago. We were really going through a rough time and just decided to go to grab something to eat. And let me tell you our waitress Alina was so amazing. I have never seen a waitress so busy but yet so attentive to her customers. Every time I saw her she was doing something but she always made sure that my husband and I were well taking care of. I felt so strongly about this that I even sought out the general manager of the restaurant and shared with him my thoughts about this wonderful waitress that we have discovered. And he could not wait he immediately told her the next time she passed by. And I told the manager and I told Alina our waitress that I was going to fill out the customer service survey on the receipt because I wanted everyone including corporate to see and to know what a true gem of an employee they have in Alina. But I sincerely hope that even though I posted this review on Google that corporate will still see it because she is truly amazing. And when it was time for us to leave and give Alina a tip my husband reach in his wallet and pulled out all the cash he had which was $27. He insisted on giving it to her as a tip and told her that if he had more he would have given it to her. And I know that he would have! Sometimes servers, or anybody for that matter, do their job for no other reason than just to bring happiness to others and this is truly what Alina brought to my husband and I at a time when we really needed encouragement the most. I truly truly truly hope that management and corporate see this review and I truly hope that they recognize Alina for the wonderful service that she gives to everyone every single day!! And Alina if you are reading this, I am so sorry for the delay. But my husband and I want to truly let you know once again that you truly were the brightest part of that dining experience!!!
God bless you and your family Alina and thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to be such a...

Main dish stuff was all slopped in containers, Dessert portions look like someone cut them up and dished them while using a spoon and closing eyes... even cake and pie slices looked like messy slop. i also had to go through about 12 dishes in the clean dishes before i found one without old food crusted on it. I might point out I SAT NEXT TO a dish dispenser and loads of people grabbing dishes also had to set quite a few aside while I was there just to find clean ones. Things were kind of under seasoned. I tried buying some gift cards because they had a big sign posted right at the cash register asking me to buy them.... then i'm told the deal is over so i can't buy them.... UMMMM so why didn't someone remove the sign if the deal ended the day before, it's not exactly hard labor to remove a portable sign. So all in all the FOOD was OK but I probably wouldn't go again unless they paid a bit more attention to aesthetics. On the UPSIDE... the WAITSTAFF was amazing and the people BEHIND the food counters were very pleasant. I think I would try the place again just because the workers...

I got there at about 11:00 a.m. It was clean and empty. A Manager greeted me and gave me a glass of water. Thankfully, this eatery provides plastic gloves for Patrons to use, for the well-being of all, however, it seemed that only middle-aged women who manage their own kitchens at home, were keen on using the gloves provided. The baked beans, Bourbon Chicken, and broccoli were cold. I sat near the "fireplace" , ate and read my book. There were 6 diners, in addition to myself, in my corner. A Server canvassed that triangle 3 times, asking everyone there but me, how their meal was? And how were they doing? Was it my frumpy hat and glasses?? Or because I only had water and no "dinner rolls"? I regularly travel to and from Baltimore to Wilmington, DE, using Rte. 40. I will think twice bf stopping there again. There was a highlight at the end from the Retired Military Vets positioned at the front of the restaurant fundraising raffles. They were handsome, energetic Vets with smiles and lively conversation. They made my day...
