Super Chicken Rico — Restaurant in Aberdeen

I used to frequent this place a few times a week... but as other reviewers mentioned, no greetings, no smiling faces, if you ask any questions they look at you like they don’t understand..(they do!!) and last but certainly not least is that their prices change from week to week....first time I ever went there I was charged roughly $19 for a whole all white chicken with 2 sides.... I swear every time I ever went in after that I paid a different total!!!! I literally get the same exact thing every time!!!!!! The final time I went in there I was charged $24.47... I look at the lady with pure disgust as Im literally appalled at this point..(I’d never mentioned the price discrepancies before) and ask why my same meal I always order went from being $19 to almost $25 within a matter of maybe 3 months and why the price is always different?? That’s when they do their routine of looking at you like a deer in headlights and pretending they don’t understand what you’re saying..... She got the message though when I snatched my money out of her hand and walked out....NEVER...

Customer service is HORRIBLE here. They didn't have any water so instead I had to get a soda which I don't like drinking. I ordered 1/2 chicken and she gave me 2 sauces. I asked for more she told me it was 25 cents each.

I asked her since I had no choice but to drink sugar could I get the 2 sauces to compensate. Her exact words was "Nobody told you to get a drink" and walked away. Now I wouldn't have mined paying for the sauces I was just trying my hand but her attitude killed it. I asked her for my money back and for the managers name. She refused to give me the managers name.

She then goes back in the kitchen to get this 5 foot guy who also tells me to leave raising his voice. I was very calm and told them I wasn't leaving until I got the managers information. So they decided to call the cops. Cops came in and made them give me managers name after hearing both sides lol.

I have been to this place twice. The times I went were very unpleasant. Every time I walk in not only am I not greeted but I always get dirty looks from all of the staff as if they are doing me a favor by being there. It is a tight spot and the tables are always dirty.

The food was dry and the selection left a lot to be desired. The chicken was so hard and dry that I almost choked on it. The beans were hard and dry like marbles. The rice was flavorless and dry and the cabbage was flavorless and barely steamed.

I have been to many Brazilian, Peruvian, Dominican, Cuban, etc. eateries. This is a far cry from any of them. I wish I could give zero stars. I don't understand how this place received good ratings because it's always empty in there. Customer service and standards are non-existent in this place. So yourself a favor..go elsewhere. There is a Golden Corral not to far from there as well as other eateries that would be glad to have...
