The Aberdeen Diner sets itself apart with its customer service! They correctly remember your order and are right the first time. With average prices for a diner you won't break the bank and there is enough left to be taken home. They offer a health conscious menu as well. TAD offers a hometown feel where you can even catch the owner in action interacting with the customers and taking orders. Depending on the time of day it can get busy. Sometimes it seems like it gets disorganized but they make up for it in many ways. Lastly, the Aberdeen Diner does not keep your basic diner’s hours. I recommend checking the time to make sure they are open as they are not 24/7. *Fun Fact: Netflix’s ‘House of Cards’ had a few scenes shot here.

Traveling back from DC stopped into this place. The wings were on a lunch special with French fries 🍟, had a burger and fries and French toast with eggs, and a cheesteak. Everything was, for the most part, basic. The hamburger seemed like it was homemade and good. The wings were good as well. The cheesteak was a bit overdone if that's a thing. What I mean is that the sliced steak itself looked like it was on the grill just a bit too long, and I would have preferred the lettuce and tomatoes on top and not under the meat. (Take a look at the photo) Other than that its diner food, the service was nice and quick. It looked like there was just the one girl working the entire joint by herself.

I can’t believe after more than 7 years in the area that we haven’t even step foot in this wonderful diner. It’s easy to overlook with the surrounding area, but I tell you that the food that we ordered on a Friday morning for breakfast was out of this world. My southern hubby raved about their biscuits and gravy and I had a perfectly cooked steak with a beautiful charred. Coffee was great, smooth and no after taste. Our Waitress were awesome. We will be a regular!

UPDATE: this is in response to all the LIES this diner just publicly stated about me regarding my 1 star review-LIE #1- “she complains every time she come” I have NEVER complained about anything or anyone, I get good service, decent breakfast and leave my tip every time! TRUST ME… I will NEVER patronize any establishment if I have to complain more than once!!!

LIE #2 “she is nasty” I am NEVER nasty to any employee…in fact you gave me good service until I asked about my charges, 99 percent of the time im in a full conversation on my headphones the entire time im there, so when do i have time to be nasty to anyone? make it make sense! The only one nasty was YOU….you started rudely talking about me behind my back as I was at the register about to punch in your tip; you started this whole encounter .. I guess you thought I wasn't going to respond back by telling how unprofessional you were being to a Veteran and loyal customer!

LIE #3 “I was on the phone with a business complaining” hmm ..I call my friend/mother every morning and speak with one of them every time and the entire time…maybe you should mind your business and not eavesdrop on customers conversations?

LIE #4- “I received 17% off (really 17% discount and my eggs n bacon was still $16? Stop it!), “I want to order and not pay for my order”- you gave me a military discount just like you did for the majority of the customers in there, thats your policy not mines. Now mind you, had you given me the opportunity to actually look at the menu, I would've noticed that your prices went up.. and that the hot tea is no longer included with the meal, which Matt so eloquently stated to me as I understood and agreed to pay! Ive been coming for years and only expected to pay the same amount each time. TRUST ME my six figure salary allows me to afford a $16 breakfast and a $5 tip!

I stopped reading the rest of the “owners” so called unprofessional response…bottom line is ..your Manager raised her voice she was ghetto, disrespectful, and unprofessional to her loyal customer and Staff because I asked why my bill was unusually higher than normal..Matt explained it to me but your Manager’s rude behavior unnecessarily escalated the situation…You then yelled at Matt that “you need to see him in the back!” I felt so sorry for him because he did nothing wrong and everything right, maybe he should be the manager? As business owners you can be complicit or not condone this behavior..

So Instead of going to your diner every Friday morning, I now go to Cracker Barrel with the friend on the phone and enjoyed spending $60 on a good quality breakfast with mimosas and lattes. I told you $3 meant nothing to me!!

Back story: Ive been coming to this diner for 25 years, however my experience with the Manager Krystal today made my day and experience the worst and I will NOT be coming back. For a manager to speak with loyal veteran customers this way is unprofessional, disrespectful, and unnecessary. She then took her frustration out on her hardest working employee Matt who tried to rectify the situation. I will sure mentioned this experience to all my friends and board members! Please consider...

Well....the food was just decent. It wasn't "oh I want to come back here" but it also wasn't " I'll never come here again". It was just food, if that makes sense. It was clean from what we saw. I didn't visit the bathroom and it appeared as though they were in the process of some type of renovations, as half the dining area was closed and looked to be somewhat of a storage area almost(I believe the chairs were just stacked up and sitting in the closed dining area). Our server however, was friendly and attentive. This was our first time here because this place always looks closed when I pass by. I was able to catch it on MY day off and I guess it's safe to say it lived up to the standard "diner hype" for it to not be a franchise/chain restaurant. We both had an omelette (meat lovers) with home fries, bacon and toast and it wasn't thrilling but it was edible. Maybe we will try it once more and I'll give y'all an update if it was just that day or if that is just the food served at this establishment. There isn't a bar here at this diner and they close I believe no later than 3pm. Maybe even 2pm. All in all stay tuned for an update! I'll give it a couple weeks and see if we can make it back...

I had made prior arrangements for a business meeting with some local folks who had never been to Aberdeen Diner. I can say that they should become regulars customers now. Matt was our host and had everything arranged. Having a great sense of humor didn't hurt either. Very enthusiastic and funny. Definitely broke the ice for all of us. Now, the food. Loved seeing typical diner food on the menu. Being a South Jersey girl, we know about diners......breakfast all day! Love it. I had the Philly Cheese Steak ( no cheese whizz thank you) with provolone and fried onions. It was GREAT! Not over done on the cheese so you could really taste the ribeye. Of course the roll is the final piece that makes the sandwich! Highly recommend it. Others had breakfast and coffee and a chicken cheese steak. Both were equally impressed. The prices are wonderful. They will not break the bank so tip your server well! Thank you Matt for being a great host. We will definitely...
