EDIT: DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU! Twice now I've made the mistake of going through the drive thru and I was up-charged without being asked or told... This time I was refused a receipt through the drive thru and had to go inside for it. Just to have proof that I was overcharged. Nobody working there cared about the situation... As if they were instructed to do this. So I was not refunded the overage charge. I was NOT even greeted, told thank you, or looked in the eye when I came in. It really did feel as if they knew they were "getting away" with upcharging customers.
This Dairy Queen location is hit or miss depending on who's working... It seems that the time of day doesn't matter as I've experienced the same few people working the dinner shift as well as the lunch shift. I didn't get the names, but my last experience was by far the worst. I was charged for things I didn't order, and when I asked about it I was told it was what I ordered and was not offered any recourse for their mistake, the food was both undercooked (hamburger) and horribly over cooked (fries). So no only was the service bad, the food was equally bad. I think next time, I'll just walk in and see who is working and make my decision to stay or not...
Read moreWould leave no stars if I could. They forgot to charge me for one of my meals, then they charged my card again illegally AFTER I had left. When I called to dispute the transaction stating that it is ILLEGAL to charge someone's card without their consent SARAH the manager lied to me three different times before magically "finding" the transaction I was talking about. Then she told me she heard the person TARA tell me she charged my card which is completely false, I have a statement proving my card was charged AFTER I left the establishment. Not to mention my food was WRONG and COLD and missing the cheese and half of the chicken on my plate. They messed up, and then illegally charged my card, then REFUSED to take responsibility when I noticed. I have no problem paying for my food, but charging someone card without their consent is ILLEGAL AND WRONG. If they would have told me while I was there I would have had no problem fixing the issue but they took my card info and charged it while I wasn't there like sneaky rats, and now I have to get a new card because some STRANGER at this dairy queen WROTE DOWN AND STOLE MY CARD INFORMATION If you go here make sure to check your statements. They are...
Read moreI used to live in Albany, so i frequented this Dairy Queen and Walmart 2 or 3 times a week it was one of my favorite places to unwind and get errands lined out so I didnt forget something. I was excited to be on that side of town and in once familiar territory. And sorely disappointed. The crew leader cashier was quite probably the rudest person I have ever encountered. She had an air pod or something in her ear. She visibly rolled her eyes while I gave my order. She rang it up and told me how much to pay and then took a phone call order. Once finished I have her the money. She gave me the change and ticket. No drink cup. The person working behind the grill brought my order. I thanked him and mentioned the service. He tried to say the front was busy apologetically. I told him, "No, she was just rude." He did give me a drink cup and asked if I needed anything else. I doubt I'll be back. I know that my meager patronage isn't going to bankrupt anyone or make any millionaires, nevertheless I doubt I will return. If she made crew leader, I shudder to think of the service from...
