I enjoy Panda Express a lot maybe a bit to much. I use their drive thru almost every visit and pay top dollar for a la carte. I am a business traveler going from town to town but my experience at this particular location was very unpleasant.
First of all they had a notice that they were out of my favorite entree teriyaki chicken until further notice? Is there a shortage in chicken that I don't know about? All other locations don't seem to have this issue.
So I asked for peppered chicken along with two other options and they told me they were cooking the pepper chicken and go around and we will walk out to give it to you. I asked the young lady to please include the sweet sour sauce for my eggroll. So I waited in front of the restaurant for 15 minutes. When another young lady came out it seemed she wasn't happy to walk outside. When I noticed that they didn't include the sweet and sour sauce like I requested she said go back thru the drive thru. :-(. Panda Express is s great place for young people to make part-time cash. I think management has opportunities to improve their service. Yes I know this has been the longest review I've...
Read moreBoth times I have come here the food has been mediocre at best. The chicken is soggy and they overload on vegetables instead of meat. The portions given are small as well. Today, I tried to pay with a gift card and was told that there was no money on the card. I asked the associate to try again because I have never used the card and there should be $25 on it. The same thing happened so I figured that the store it was bought from never loaded the money. So I pay with my debit card, and after the transaction processed the associate asked to see the gift card again. She says "oh thats my fault, there is $25 on the card". I politely asked for her to refund the money to my debit card and run the transaction on the gift card. Her response was "no, I don't want a refund on this register so I will just give you $25 cash for the gift card".. I don't understand what just happened. And again the food...
Read moreI’m an ex Panda Express employee (used to work in Orlando,FL) and am familiar with how the business runs. For the negatives: This location seems to be inconsistent in terms of service. Additionally, inconsistent with the entree quality. I’ve received broccoli beef a couple times where you could definitely tell it had been sitting out for too long. They never have string bean chicken ready no matter what time you go in. Positive side: I have observed the manager engage with the customers and be very friendly on previous occasions. My thought process is that many people cannot afford to go out often, are maybe visiting a family member they don’t see often, are sharing a last meal before their spouse deploys or simply just had a rough day. This means that the quality of your service and food is important and helps create memories and comfort people, plus we are paying customers....
