Mary's Paleteria — Restaurant in Abilene

We finally tried it for the first time about a week ago and had to make our way back again this weekend. I enjoy they're banana 🍌 splits and had to get my fix. This week I selected the Strawberry 🍓 Pina Colada, Coffee ☕and Strawberry🍓 Coconut with Oreo crumbles, coconut, Pecan chocolate syrup and whip cream toppings. 😋 Hmmmm good 😋My honey enjoyed a milkshake on our first visit and a two scoop sundae 🍨 on our second visit. He enjoyed the sundae but was disappointed 😞 because his sundae didn't look as good as my banana split. I’ve always enjoyed supporting local businesses, and Mary’s was a regular spot for me. However, my recent experience left me disappointed. When I visited with a friend, we noticed that the employees kept staring at us while we were seated, and they appeared to be laughing in our direction. This behavior felt unprofessional and made us uncomfortable, casting a negative tone on what was supposed to be a pleasant visit.

I believe in giving constructive feedback, so I hope this is seen as an opportunity for improvement. In the meantime, I’ll be exploring other options...

I went there with a few clients. One is very sensitive to ice.. so I asked for no ice.... everywhere I go to they comply with my order... not this place... they said he had to have some ice. I had to take the drink to the home and use a strainer to get the ice out.. just leaving him a 1/4 cup of drink. The rest of us got it with ice... but it disappointed me that that I couldn't get 1 with no ice for mentally handicapped person who couldn't comprehend why they still put...
