If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this place definitely hits the spot — highly recommend! I had the barbacoa burritos with cilantro and avocado, and they were absolutely delicious. My man ordered the migas (wish I had gotten a picture of his plate!), and he loved his meal too. The food came out super fast — no long wait at all. From the outside, the place might look a little sketchy, but once you step inside, it’s actually really nice and welcoming. The owner was so friendly, talking to us like she had known us forever. We’ll definitely be coming back! ¡Definitivamente volveremos!

Homemade cooking!! If you want some real authentic home cooking this is the place to go eat. Been in Abilene for 5 months and tried most of the restaurants around nothing is as good as this place close to my mom's cooking at home in Houston, Texas. Highly recommend this place owner is friendly and generous with clients.

I definitely recommend this place! Such good food and they have some real tortillas unlike other places. The lady who I think was the owner was absolutely sweet, funny, and welcoming. If I ever come back to Abilene I’ll for sure come back to visit her!

This wonderful restaurant!!!!! First, this restaurant is amazing because I am a huge salsa, taco, and Spanish rice fan. The owner offered to make the salsa with Cilantro just for me even though I declined because I know how busy they are and it was bomb!!! Just the right amount of spice and flavor in her salsa! I've been to other restaurants who Refused to make special items or wouldn't move their menu around to please the customer this restaurant is NOT one of those. She takes pride in her restaurant and food! The tacos were excellent and the rice was Oh My God amazing! The ingredients in the rice just pop in your mouth with flavor!! ❤ There is not many places in Abilene who know how to make good Spanish rice with flavor but wow Hernandez is it!!!! This is my first time eating lunch here I normally get breakfast burritos which are always amazing but wow I am wowed!! Definitely will be coming for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Can't wait to try the tamales 🤤 so good!!! Can't wait to go back and try everything!!! The drinks are delicious as well!!! They make Jamaica and it is glorious! The best food and everything in Abilene all the...

What happened to the customer is always right??? I've been going here for years and the moment they screw up my order she becomes ugly and offensive and blames it all on me. Apparently she doesn't listen when you ordering. Very very disappointed and that place is a hit or miss. Sometimes I get good food other times not so much. And the enchiladas 🤢🤮 omg the most disgusting enchiladas I've ever had in my life. Will not be going to that place anymore! I'll go to the one on butternut they r much...
