Was in the area and craving an old style seafood dinner that was common in many local towns years ago. Went with the baked combo (flounder, scallops, shrimp), an order of clams casino, and fried calamari. Everything was what I was hoping for, even after a 30min ride home before eating. Clams had sautéed peppers/onions, with a real bacon strip on top of a fresh whole clam. Combo was fresh and baked perfectly. I can’t fault anyone but myself for the softened breading on the calamari, but it was still properly cooked and delicious. Plenty of lemon slices and marinara. I did add butter and cocktail sauce ramekins once home. To finish it off I collected all the juices in a ramekin with some lemon for a nice bread dipping sauce to finish my meal. 🤤 Pricing was fair, especially for the service, quality and cleanliness of this take out counter. Call ahead to order. Had to wait 20mins, but I feel that means it’s fresh, not precooked. Wish we lived closer.

The Crab was fresh and they give you a pretty large amount for the money. The fish and chips were delicious and also a great portion for under $10. The Bang Bang shrimp, despite being slightly soggy (from transport in an insulated bag, no fault of the chefs) were still flavorful and juicy. Pictured is the lobster tail, which was massive and tastefully seasoned. I will be visiting Lew's again, probably sooner than I should.

We were so looking forward to having seafood. There were only 2 other patrons -no one was eating. It smelled like an old smoker bar. Our steamers were cold. Clam chowder was so pasty with flour. Our Snow crab (supposedly a pound) is featured as served in the following photo, quality was poor. The only Chardonnay they had was Flip Flop🫤 Sadly not going back.

I am personally not one to leave reviews on the negative end of the spectrum however, my most recent experience with Lew’s ( Hannah specifically) leaves me no choice. I called at 3 pm on Christmas Eve to place a rather expensive take out order for my family on Christmas Eve. We order from Lews on an almost regular basis and are always satisfied with the service and the food is usually beyond exceptional however, today I had the unfortunate experience giving my order to a rude employee that did everything except say she was annoyed to be working on Christmas Eve…. You guessed it…. Hannah. This girl knows nothing about the product the company that she works for sells and has no time to explain anything to the customer calling in to place an order. My order for takeout exceeded $200 and I’m sorry but if you don’t like dealing with people, the service industry is not for you honey. I own a business that is focused on customer service and if I EVER received a complaint from a customer that dealt with a Hanna like attitude, that employee would be looking for a new job. Half of what I ordered was missing or wrong and the kicker is that I was charged for what was originally ordered. I would usually chalk it up as a mistake made on a busy night however, I can’t swallow that when I am given the attitude I was given as if I was interrupting her cover shoot and interview with vogue magazine but if you saw Hannah you’d know that clearly wasn’t the case. If you are going to be so rude to customers on the phone, you’d best be on your A game and make sure everything is correct. As a result of the experience I had tonight and my family’s dinner being ruined because of Hannah’s attitude, I will just take my business to Bucks County Seafood...

I've been going to Lews for over thirty years beginning in Rosslyn. Now that the owners have retired things have really changed for the worst the prices have gone up dramatically over night.the menu no longer have prices for what you might order. But it does say prices may change without notice wow I went last night and ordered my regular the trio 4 shrimp 4 scallops and flounder they weigh each item.. when I called my order(2) in I request that one be with onion rings I paid $42.00 to the new owner rang me up.. I notice my bag was a little lite when my wife and I arrived at home we opened the container to discover no fries no onion rings no macaroni or Cole slaw but in a small container 1onion ring YES 1 I tried calling but I knew I was the last customer .. I call to speak to the new owner about my order his response was those sides never came with the trio NOW mine you this was something I've been buying for years I didn't want to argue so then I ask about the 1 onion ring he said some customer all though it may sound strange they do ask for 1 onion ring (Yeah right) so I ask what did you charge me for that?he said 80 cent he said he was sorry for the mix up and in the future ask for the sides..I can say for future my friends and family will no longer do business with Lews if I can help it I'll be looking for a new seafood spot asap I expected some changes but not a stick up.... Lews should have taken their name with them because all I here is negative reviews about the new owners... if you're thinking about going don't you're be disappointed fish at times still have scales on it and fish at times get soggy in container SAD days ahead...

I would stop twice a month for my parents, they’re disabled and love seafood. I decided to get a gift certificate as a Christmas gift for them. I had my face mask on and 1 other person in the store, 2 other people walk in behind me as I’m waiting which is no big deal to me. However the older gentleman worker me being there was an issue. He talked with everyone else in the store, when he addressed me he was rude. Explaining COVID and orders must be placed ahead of time. I ask nicely does that include gift card, before I can finish he talks over me only 1 person in the stores at a time, although he is holding a conversation with 3 other customers. So again I ask nicely because my parents really like some of the items “does this include gift cards”, as I would have called it in. He tells me yes but then huffs and rolls his eyes and says “well I guess I can do one really quick”. Guess what no you don’t have to I purchased my gift card else where and now I no longer have to stop in for take out. You’re not doing me a favor taking my money and believe me I LOVE supporting small local business especially when food...
