I placed a large bagel order online yesterday (Thursday). There was no issue whatsoever with taking the order. I received an email confirmation, saying my order would be ready at my requested time (7:10 AM). I arrived at 7am and explained that I was there to pick up the order, but I fully understood that I was early and I was happy to wait for it to be finished. The manager putting my order together told me that I "wasn't supposed to be there until 7:15" - although my email receipt said 7:10, and I received a "Your Order is Ready!" text at 7:05. I patiently waited for my order off to the side, and after a few minutes I asked a different manager if I could purchase some tubs of cream cheese while I waited. As I was paying for the cream cheese, the other manager who was bagging my bagels informed me that they "really shouldn't be filling my order" because it is "company policy that large orders need to be placed 3 days in advance." I was extremely taken aback by this and informed her that I was unaware of said policy. I also questioned why, if this was a policy, I was allowed to place an online order to begin with, and why no one called to let me know my order could not be filled due to this alleged policy. This manager then followed up by letting me know that this location had to "turn down a $600 order" to fill my significantly smaller order ($64) because my "order took up all the remaining bagels in the store." I was so stunned by being shamed in this manner as a customer that I was unable to respond in the moment, but in retrospect, I realize that this alleged $600 order must have come in AFTER my own - which means this alleged $600 order couldn't have been filled due to this supposed 3-days-notice policy, correct? If this policy does exist, then someone from this location should have called me once my order was placed to inform me that my order could not be filled - they should not have begrudgingly filled the order and then shamed me for placing it to begin with. I am in disbelief that I was made to feel guilty that the store "wasn't able to fill a $600 order" because they "HAD" to fill mine. If someone had simply called me to say I hadn't provided enough notice to fill the order, I simply would have accepted that and ordered food elsewhere. I will never return to this...
Read moreThis location for some reason always has some type of issue. If i make a pick up order, it is NEVER on time. I always have to wait 15 minutes more after my pickup time. Next, this location lies about not having smoothies. If you try to order one, they say it's sold out on the app or in store they say there is no barista. But i went in and saw another customer get a smoothie. One worker whispered to the worker checking me out and said "tell anybody else we don't have smoothies". So as I was ordering i asked, "do you guys have smoothies?" and the worker said no.... As her other workers is drinking a freshly made smoothie in front of my face and the other customer just received one... I guess this location wants to be like McDonalds and lie about their machine not working or not having someone to make it. But if you just don't want to make it, just say that... I will be going to Willow Grove from now on, because Panera is pricey enough and I want a good experience...
Read morePlaced a order this morning for Pickup, its Case Management week and decided to treat my staff at the hospital. I ordered a few salads and 22 sandwiches ( not meals). total 29 things all together. I placed a pick up time of 1155, and a few minutes later received a change of pick up time to accommodate my order for 12:13. I left to pick up the food, once I got there I was told they cancelled my order- I received absolutely nothing stating my order was cancelled just a confirmation for a change in pick up time. They expressed they weren't able to accommodate my order because they wouldn't have enough food for lunch hour.. I don't understand what would of been a so difficulty 20 people could of walked in behind me and all ordered a sandwich vs 1 person ordering the same amount. She said they would have had to of gotten the frozen food ready. Why are you able to order any amount online if the facility itself can not accommodate it. A almost a 260.00 order will now...
