Longhorn has always been one of my favorite quick food spots. Back in undergrad, I used to go at least once a week for their drinks, like the mango long pour, and their appetizers, especially during football season. Since graduating, I haven’t gotten the chance to eat here in a while, but I stopped by last week and was happy to see the food is still just as consistent and tasty as it was when I was in college. This time, we ordered the wings, a hamburger with mac and cheese (no bacon), corn on the cob, and spicy chicken bites. Everything came out well. I definitely recommend the corn if you haven’t tried it yet; it’s a must. The burger was solid, and the spicy chicken bites were pretty good too (I like pairing them with the chicken wrap sauce). The atmosphere is split into two; one part has a sporty vibe, featuring TVs at the bar, while the dining area and overall aesthetic reflect a Western style with plenty of wood and rustic decor. The service is quick and friendly, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. This makes it an ideal spot to watch games, hang out with friends, or simply enjoy dinner. I would say Longhorn is a great spot to chill and have decent food for a decent price.

Went to this LongHorn Steakhouse for dinner for the first time. We were greeted by hostess who walked us to our table. Our waiter was Jeffrey, who was polite and did a great job. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant will leave to be desired better. The wall and lamp on the wall is covered with dust and stains among other things. You can see it on the picture. The 2 Ribeyes that we ordered, couldn’t look much more different from each other. One was about 3/4” thick and looked like a snowman with lots of connecting tissue that I had to cut off, the other one was flat about 1/4” thick like a shoe sole. Not even sure they were Ribeyes… On the way out hostess was too busy chatting with her friend. Looked at us briefly on the way out and did not think it was necessary to say thank you and good bye. One of those places that you only visit once.

I’ve been to this Longhorn location and have never had any problems. Wait times are not outrageous and the servers provide good service. Ever since the Outback down the street started falling a part, Longhorn has been my go to for steak. Yesterday, I tried the lamb chops that are back for a limited time, and I recommend you try them before they’re gone and get them either medium well or medium. They weren’t expensive either for lamb chops only about $26. The only thing I slightly dislike about Longhorn is that it’s a bit dark inside, but that does not take away from the service and food quality.

I went to this location for the first time with my sister. The hostess was very friendly & sat me immediately. After 17 minutes I went to the host stand and informed her that my server hadn’t arrived yet to introduce herself and offer bread & a drink. I asked why such a long wait & she informed me that there was a larger party there for lunch that another server was covering and so the server my sister & I were to have was covering more tables. I appreciated her transparency. She sat me at another table as well because the person behind me kept shaking the booth. My sister loved the food and I gave her recommendations she said 10/10. I on the other hand didn’t have the greatest experience compared to other Longhorn locations. Our server took another 10 minutes to arrive to us to get our order started. Bread came out and was almost gone and we still didn’t have at least the appetizer so about 25 minutes. I ordered the parmesan crusted lambchops & my side was loaded mashed potatoes with spinach and a baked sweet potato. The presentation was nice but the mashed potatoes weren’t loaded. When I asked why it was missing she wanted to double check & then said that’s how they were supposed to come. I said how do loaded mashed potatoes come unloaded? So she left & brought back 2 condiment cups,1 with spinach & the other with shredded cheese, bacon bits & chives. I asked what this was for and she told me so I could load the potatoes myself. I didn’t order to have to prep any part of my food especially as long as we waited for it to come out. So I politely redirected her and asked if she could have them prepare me a side of mashed potatoes that are loaded? She came back 3 minutes later with the condiment container fillings dumped on. You could see they weren’t cooked in because the cheese had yet to melt and the bacon was crunchy as it it were the artificial bacon bits you find in the grocery aisle for salads. She looked annoyed with me because I had asked & I can understand maybe she was overwhelmed with the extra tables she had but I didn’t feel like I was a valued guest. Never gave her attitude I hate when people do that especially because I used to work on food service. Upon leaving she did offer boxes for food and brought the check and I asked for 3 condiment cups of the Parmesan crust sauce with cheese. She then began to explain to me what it consisted of unprovoked & I finished her sentence for her & let her know it wasn’t my first time ordering it. She left to get it and came back & said her manager told her that we can have it if we pay $2 a cup. I said that’s unheard of but I said let her manager know he can keep it. I’ll be taking the survey to express my feelings over the lackluster dining experience. The only reason I went this far to make a review here is because the survey limits you to...

I LOVE LONGHORN! BUT THIS WAS LIKE GOING TO A CHEAP KNOCK OFF! Ok that might sound a little harsh, but unfortunately was true. Server/staff= awesome and friendly Look/feel = like a LongHorn's little brother. Food = below subpar rubish

I went to this location after a movie with the fam on Saturday night it was late but this is close to us so i thought why not we haven't tried it yet. We only go 2 or 3 times a year so we were hype about the choice. We usually go to the one up 309(awesome exp everytime we go other then wait )

It was late in the evening but still a sat night. It wasnt very busy maybe 2 other groups of people in the place and half hour till closing. No problem with seating when we went. Server was very freindly. We ordered an app of the mushrooms which is one of our favorites and it was clumpy salty mush but was edible just not up to what we usually get. Shades of things to come. Our ceaser salads ordered as sides looked like a mass of iceberg very little green and all the cheese and curtons where on the bottom?! The main event came out before we where done our app or salad. Our daughter got the Longhorn medium it wasnt bad jist seemed very tuff and dried out for medium. Mine and my wife's orders however where not even edible! The main issue was that both where EXTREMELY SALTY! so salty that both our tounges where numb after only a few bites. Some of my veggies wherr cold and my rice was under cooked. Neither of us ate even half. We told our server hoenstly only when she asked how everything was. But she had been so nice we didnt make a stink about it just was honest and left it at that. A few mins later the manager (who we didnt ask for) came up and said something like "i heard your food was a little over seasoned" both our server and he used this term im guessing the word they are trained to say. We explained that we just wanted to tell the server hoenstly that it was a let down we where excited and we look foward to the food. The manager was nice and seemed concerned and we didnt say we where sending the food back or anything but i did express that we wouldnt be finishing them due to the level of "seasoning" he left with a sincere thabks for letting us know. the manager while curdious i feel could have at least offered to comp our app or get us a desert or something if not comp us for the two meals we left more then half of when we left. This could be considered expected food for a bad night at applebees but for longhorn it was a huge dip in quality and spending longhorn moeny its very disappointing I am tempted to rate this higher only because of the staff. Even after closeing they still gave a very enthusiastic birthday song to the only other people on the restaurant. And again our server was amazing. Its just ashame the food was...

Second UPDATE!

Someone reached out from customer relations addressing my concern. She was very nice and also offered a $75 gift card to give long horn another try. I was grateful and happy to see that Longhorn does take this kind of situation seriously. I will be returning as a customer! I will change my review because customer relations were awesome.

UPDATE

Decided to give this place another chance and was quickly reminded why I stopped coming to this location. Our waitress was very nice, however she did say “forgive me for the way that I am talking because I am sick”. Now, with flu season and Covid still going around I did not feel comfortable with her handling my food knowing that she was sick. We seen a manager (Adam) and discreetly let him know what she had told us and genuinely was concerned for her waiting tables while being sick. He came over didn’t say a word and just left our table and sent over a new waiter, while the sick waitress continued serving other tables around us making it very obvious that we had said something. (Unprofessional) Our next waiter started out great but I’m not sure if he was new or if he just had too many tables that he could handle. We ended up being there over 2 hours from the time that we were seated to the time we waited to get the bill. I wanted shed some light on how this restaurant doesn’t care for the safety of their customers or employees. I hope that she gets well soon, but please do better longhorn. I hope that you will choose health over money the next time someone brings something like this to your attention!

Good quality is not there, Texas road house is a...
