Today I ordered two 12 ounce bowls at the time I placed my order. I let it be known to the server that my daughter was allergic to bananas. I noticed the bananas was laid across all the fruits, so I asked the guy to get the fresh blueberries and pineapples out of the fridge to make my daughter’s bowl because I didn’t want it contaminated with the bananas.
The guy upfront came to the register, gave me my $20 and change back and told me not to come to the store again. I asked to speak to a manager, supervisor, or corporate office phone number when he let me know he was the boss and he was the only one I can speak to. He did all of this in front of my daughter. I feel as though he’s prejudice and he would not have done it to someone who looked just like him. I’ve been shopping there for over a year now and I’ve had several run ins with him and I feel as though the way I look have something to do with it. I asked for them not to put bananas in my daughter bowl, and he snapped out on me in front of my daughter and put the money on the counter. He was very disrespectful. The situation was very unfair. I was there last week on the 13th and a different server separated the bowl from the bananas and other fruit so it wouldn’t be contaminated. The fruit bowls was successfully made without any problems.

I went in to try an Acai bowl and the staff at Simply Fruits are very sweet, they gave me a Sample so I can try the 3 different bases so that I can have an idea of what to order when I visit. They have a huge menu selection so I will be back again and again to try different options throughout the year. Jenkintown Plaza location's staff are very helpful with answering questions you have and also it shows alot of Respect for your customers when a Business makes it a point to say "Good Morning" to their customers upon arrival, Not all businesses do that. It really does make a difference, it demonstrates that they are not only attentive and Respectful but also they care about making sure their customers leave Happy. I would recommend Simply Fruits anytime!!! Definitely pleased that I found this place on Google and they are close by where I live in the Jenkintown...

When my mom told him to keep the bananas and other fruit away from my bowl and to put fresh fruit in my bowl, he snaps out and immediately walks back to the register telling her that she can’t go there no more and no longer be serving her anymore. When he did this, I stood there confused and angry. While he was saying this to my mom, he refunds her money and puts the money on the table and not in her hands.
What he did was unprofessional, disrespectful, and very unfair. I didn’t like that we was being treated poorly and I was embarrassed because other customers was watching.
