Nothing beats a workday other than good ice cream, I’ve been told about this please many of times. For the first time yesterday I gave them a try around 3:15 PM their staff ruined my experience. As a business owner I would have fired the three employees, due to their unprofessionalism ignorance, and all around rudeness after I parked my vehicle, I walked over, stared at their menu for a hot second, and was ready to order I saw their employee she looked directly at me, then walked away. I was confused for a second because I figured maybe she was making someone else’s order. But my companion who was standing by our vehicle, could see directly into the shop and she and the other employees were just on their phones. At that point I was beginning to lose my patience because again I made eye contact with the male employee at this point and he did the same thing. So I took it upon myself to ask them if they were open. Rather than say, ma’am you’re at the wrong service window no one thought to say anything. Finally when I realize I’m at the wrong service window no help them letting me know not a single sign that states this service window is closed. They finally took my order seeing if there are cameras out there I’m certain the owners can just have their employees treat their customers. I kind of feel like sometimes establishments forget, it’s the customers they keep their business opened by patronizing them. Read moreThis place has been my go-to spot for ice cream ever since they were at Rising Sun and Cottmon Aves, sharing a parking lot with Dunkin’. Their ice cream is always delicious, and they have the perfect jimmies, not the ones that taste like candy. Usually, I’d rate the ice cream itself 4 or 5 stars. But today’s visit left me completely disappointed, and it all comes down to cleanliness and food handling.
Here’s the issue: the person who took my order also cashed me out, and then, without gloves or washing their hands, immediately started making my order. They went straight from handling money to handling my food. That’s a big no-no! They even touched the part of the spoon that goes in my mouth and the part of the waffle cone I’d normally eat.
Worse yet, they also reached right into the container of jimmies and picked up the utensil used to scoop them, with their bare hands, before using it to sprinkle the jimmies on my order.
In the background, another staff member was adjusting the cone holder and had their hands all over it. Even though there’s a paper wrapper at the bottom, they touched everywhere including the part I’d usually eat. It’s just not okay to see them touching the food like that.
There needs to be hand washing or glove use, especially when the same person is taking money and making orders. This isn’t sanitary and is frankly disgusting.

Read moreWhen Richmans first opened the food was great! Now things have changed a lot. The food is greasy and inconsistent. My sons fries looked as though someone had spilled an entire salt shaker on them and his chicken fingers were burned but they just gave them to us regardless. Also the produce on my burger looked entirely too old to be serving. Aside from the food the costumer service is terrible. The wait time is always 30 minutes even when promised in 15 minutes. The employee working the register was extremely rude and had his music playing on his phone so loud we couldn’t even communicate, I had to ask him for a straw 4 times before he even heard me. I have ordered with him multiples times before and every time he is extremely ill mannered, rude, and short tempered. We have tried going back multiple times recently hoping it was just one bad experience but it hasn’t changed.
