This is the cafe that I would sit in and hang out in and do some extra work on my iPad while I waited until it came time to then and go to church on Wednesdays at St David's Evangelical Lutheran Church down the road past convent Avenue. My church is what carries me, because of the faith that I have in my religion as well as the faith that I have in the world and all around me it is my hope and my prayer the people just live by doing good and not purposely going out and hurting anybody just because they're different from you. Or just because. People come up with the wildest stuff to go out of their way and do harm to and maybe they're not knowing that they're doing harm because it's their belief and how they see the world who knows I try not to figure out people all I know is that I like this Cafe. Read moreI wanted a triple mocha frap without whip cream and the barista substituted it with something else, and accidentally didn't put any coffee in it. I was fine with it, went back to working on some work for a few hours, went to get another drink and explained the situation - looking for a recommendation for something chocolate and coffee since I was new to the coffee world. I was pleasantly surprised that the barista made me a free drink because of the "mess up" before and actually ended up making me two because he wanted to make sure I found a drink I could get addicted to! Read moreNo matter what time or day, it is impossible to order ahead using the mobile app… almost everything is “sold out”. Either the person responsible for inventory has no clue what they are doing, or they do not update what is and is not sold out online. Either way it shows major incompetence on this stores behalf. Ordering ahead saves time and reduces the amount of people in the store at once (ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT DURING A PANDEMIC). My guess is, whoever is responsible for updating the online availability of items marks most things as “sold out” to prevent people from ordering ahead, thus making the store less busy, creating less work for themselves....
