New Napoli’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Abington Township

Let’s start with the positive; The guy who took my order was very friendly. I always love to be greeted and made to feel welcome. Really important…kudos on a job well done.

On to the food…. ☹️. I ordered a large plain pizza and a cheesesteak w/ fried onions. Combined, the total came to $30. The pizza was subpar. The crust was very thin, but not crispy. The sauce was unremarkable and had a somewhat sour taste. Usually, this occurs when using very low-grade tomatoes. They didn’t skimp on the amount of cheese, but they did on the quality of the cheese. The final result was a really bad pizza. The cheesesteak was a joke. It kind of reminded me of an item that one would receive when ordering from a child’s menu. The roll was decent, but it had about 20% of the amount of meat that one would get in a good cheesesteak. For $13 dollars, it was laughable.

Overall, it was a really disappointing experience. I won’t go back...

I ordered wings and broccoli bites and the entire meal was gross. I carried the bag horizally as it was handed to me only to find wing sauce everywhere. The container wasn't open, it just leaked. They should probably improve their packaging. I unwrapped celery only to see it was white, not green. It should have been fed to the deer at Pennypack. The side sauce resembled mayo, not blue cheese. It had poor taste and no evidence of the signature crumbles of a good blue cheese. I was looking forward to broccoli bites, only to find they were mostly crushed, no longer a finger food and needed utensils. The sauce on the side was the lightest marinara sauce I've seen and was gross tasting. I will not be ordering again. They are trying to pass off low quality food at market prices. Go...

Called in an order of 2 cheese steaks with fried onions. They were gonna charge me 75 cent Xtra for the fried onions per steak. I got irritated knowing this because it's fried onions, not broiled scallops. I told person who took the call that if he wants me to order from him and not call elsewhere, to not charge the ridiculous Xtra fee for fried onions. He agreed to not charge. The food came quick and steaks tasted pretty good. I will order from them again but they should not make customers pay Xtra for every little thing. I know it's inflation but I also know there are establishments that take advantage of that word. Think of the business you could have if word spread out there that you charge less than the competition, even if it's 75cent less for that cheesteak or hoagie...
