Becoming hit or miss- someone keeps burning /over cooking the pizzas. Scroll down and look at other pictures in the reviews thatâs how it used to be consistently. Once overcooked/partially burnt- the cheese is no longer pizza cheese, it crispy cheese and over all pie is super dry. The cheese just comes off in one stiff lump. Crust is hard as a rock and tastes like its days old. We gave friendly feedback after like the 5th time- they were very kind and gave us 2 free pies. I didnât care about that -actually we placed several orders until we asked to use it. This time we were told we asked for it well done (false) and then they stated it wasnât over done. So which one is it? So whatâs the point- just disconnect the call. Not trying to be difficult- when you order out youâd like it to be edible, what I described above is not. Weâve tossed the pies, at times when they were just way too over cooked. There is nothing better than a great Spencerâs pizza. Others have said the same recently they have experienced this.
Great atmosphere, hard working people! Just order not well done if youâre not a well done...
Read moresuch a bad experience just ordering, ended up leaving and will never be back as there is plenty of great sub shops in the area. customer service was extremely poor. especially since me and my boyfriend were the ONLY ones in the entire place...at dinner time! The guy at the counter was barely acknowledging us even after asking if we were ready to order. my boyfriend had a couple questions and not ONCE did he even look up from whatever he was doing and inaudibly answered the question with either "yup" or "nope" we physically could not even hear which one so my boyfriend politely said "I'm sorry what was that?" and instead of looking up and repeating clearly and giving us the time of day responded the same way, still looking down giving off the vibe WE were bothering HIM. why bother opening your doors at that point? you have so much competition in this area which is exactly why I asked my boyfriend if he just wanted to go to D'anns and get takeout there lol...

I recently stopped by Spencerâs Pizza in Abington and tried their square pizza, and wowâit instantly took me back to my childhood school lunches in the best way possible. The crust was perfectly crispy on the edges with a soft, doughy center, just like those classic cafeteria slices we all secretly loved. But Spencerâs version takes it to a whole new levelâfresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The sauce had just the right amount of tang, and the cheese was deliciously melty with a golden finish on top. Itâs simple, nostalgic comfort food, done right.
The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even during a busy evening. The place has a welcoming, small-town charm that makes you want to come back.
If youâre in the Abington area and craving something familiar yet satisfying, do yourself a favor and try the square pizza at Spencerâs. Itâs a throwback with taste...
