McDonald's — Restaurant in Acme Township

Just left the drive thru one very unhappy customer. I asked for the Minute Maid Slushie that is advertised as a new item and was told they do not have those, she asked 3 times if I was referring to the smoothie or the frozen coke. I was patient and tried explaining to her that no, it is in fact the Minute Maid Slushie that is literally on a big sign right by the drive thru ordering spot. As I am trying to place my order she is also rambling off random numbers to me, which were apparently other customers amount due. I told her I needed just a moment to decide what drinks we wanted since they apparently didn't have what we wanted and she rudely tells me that I am holding up the line. She was the one holding up the line! She also got rude when I pointed out she forgot to add the free fries that I should have had on my order for giving her the drive thru code from the APP. This was at 1:35PM on 04/11/2022 in case management sees this and would like to discuss with said worker how inappropriate it is to be rude to customers and you may also want to have her re learn the menu since she doesn't seem to know what new items you now offer, OR if you in fact do not offer Minute Made slushies you may want to take that off your signs. I myself work in hospitality, it doesn't matter if you are having a bad day you can NOT treat customers this way. It makes the entire business look bad! Please hire some employees with better attitudes and get rid of the rude ones who apparently don't want to be there.

McDonald's in Kalkaska is a great asset to our town. They hire our children and teach them the ways of the workforce in a very positive way. I have had problems with my food from there in the past, and have gotten upset about that. I didn't understand that there are alot of our town children working in there, and that mistakes will be made. But, i have also been there many times, and the food is AWESOME!! The service has been Awesome!! This restaurant has been in our town for a long time. They have contributed to our community in many ways throughout the years in service. If you ever have a problem with your food or service. Please keep in mind that our children are working there. Mistakes will be made! Yelling and getting upset only makes things worse. Would you want an adult talking or screaming at your child like ppl do when upset?? I have done this myself. I am ashamed at how I've acted in the past. McDonald's across our country deserve the respect as well. They keep their food and prices affordable for all to enjoy. I hope this post helps. If i read this post i definitely would of reacted differently...

Let me just start out with something, any McDonald's that doesn't have a drink fountain in the lobby automatically loses a star from me. It's disrespectful to the customer, and is just a ploy to get more money out of you. I will say at least this one will give you a refill if you ask. Another automatic star loss for me, is this particular McDonald's doesn't have menu boards up!? How insane is that? It's deceptive if you don't want to be forced to use the stupid kiosk, which I really hate. This location the buy 1 breakfast sandwhich get 1 for dollar was missing the steak McGriddle option which was also irritating. Now the food was just fine, very standard for McDonald's.
