I ordered delivery from them through DoorDash tonight. I ordered the Cajun Steak and Cheese. There was a list of adding but at no point was there an option to add grilled/sautéed mushrooms, peppers, and onions. What kind of place tours themselves as a purveyor of steak and cheeses and doesn’t give you the option to add mushrooms peppers as onions? I should have known right there I was going to be wasting my time and money, but no, I was optimistic snd just put my request in the special instructions.
When the order came there was a order receipt with all the items and appropriate add ons stapled to the bag. It did not have my mushrooms onions and peppers listed. I opened the sandwich up and not only were there no peppers mushrooms and onions, but there also wasn’t any cheese. To add insult to injury the shaved steak was incredibly overcooked and dry as a bone. WORST STEAK AND CHEESE OF MY LIFE. I was so excited to try this and I couldn’t have been more let down.
I placed a complaint on DoorDash and for my inconvenience and inedible food, they offered to compensate me $3.50 for my $14.00 dry piece of garbage. Wound up eating a microwave hotdog instead and it was infotech more satisfying than that abortion they called a steak and cheese. Read moreSo the day before Father’s Day my family and I stopped by for some grinders. We picked them up and continued on our way to our destination. When we got there we came to find out that the grinder had bunch of items on it that were supposed to be on the side. My kid refused to eat it even after I removed all the items. I called the place and I asked for my money back for the grinder. The person that I spoke with said the manager would call me once it’s processed. Couple weeks went by and nothing. So I called this past Tuesday and asked for the manager to give me a call back. A whole day went by and then again nothing. So I called the place back and the same person I spoke with the day before told me that the manager didn’t want to call me and left for the day. But one of the owners was there. I asked to speak with him and after checking he stated that he was too busy but he would try to call the other manager. Couple hours later the manager called and after I explained my situation she said she just got back from vacation and was busy…. This issue started in mid June we are on July 8th now. Then proceeded to tell me she would refund my sub back. I’m not a business owner but I feel that after this whole ordeal the right thing to do would have been to refund the whole order. TC must be...
Read moreI’ve been ordering from TC Lando’s regularly since moving to Hudson a year ago. The food is great, and my family has been loyal customers—until now.
My recent order was entered incorrectly, and I received the wrong item. When I called to have it corrected, I was put on hold three separate times while they tried to figure out who took the order—no apology, no ownership. When someone finally spoke to me, I had to re-explain everything, only to be told, “I can’t find that item.” Of course you can’t—it was entered wrong by your staff.
I wasn’t asking for much—just to have the correct item remade. Instead, I was met with skepticism, like I was making it up, and the woman on the phone clearly had an attitude because I was frustrated. Yes, I had an attitude—because I just spent $65 and was being treated like I was the problem.
A refund was offered, but I didn’t want that. I just wanted what I ordered. Eventually they agreed to remake it, but not without making me feel like a burden. For $65 at a pizza shop, the customer service should be a lot better than this.
