Elected to visit the restaurant on a Saturday night for dinner. Ample parking in front and the side of the building. The next door tenant is open for breakfast and lunch and one would assume that eases parking. ADA parking is available and the offer a drive through as well as an smart telephone application.
One walks to the rear of the restaurant and menu choices are on the wall plus some screens that rotate with specials.
Short wait for other customers to place their order.
Ordered s chicken salad, no tomatoes and learned that they were out of several dressing. Thus it was prepared and no dressing on the salad.
Flashing up on the menu board was a Hot Cuban Sandwich. Looked great.
Learned they don't have it and corporate will not remove it from the ever changing menu board.
Elected to go with a large Memphian. Then learned they are out of regular bread and they only had Ciabatta bread.
Placed the order. After a short but long wait the food was delivered to the table.
Napkin holder had dirt on the top and missing wall trim was observed while the food was being prepared.
During the wait, a trip to the restroom was made and no paper towels to dry your hands and the restroom was in need of service.
The salad did come with tomatoes and again they were not requested.
First bite of the sandwich was warm. Balance was cold.
Prior to leaving, the person who took the order was cleaning the empty tables and was informed about the salad and issues with the sandwich.
Made the comment that there is no reason to return to the restaurant.
Elected to contact the corporate office and left a comment and thus far, no response.
And yes, I have received super service at the original location in...
Read moreWent after 12p so expected to wait maybe 20 mins for the sandwiches, but we ordered at 12:32p and didn't get the sandwiches until 1:11p - nearly 40 mins for 2 sandwiches! We went to the counter to check around 25 mins after the order, and the front counter staff couldn't be bothered and he simply said "I don't know when your sandwiches will be ready". We grabbed the runner to check and then the front counter guy came over about 5 minutes later and asked what sandwiches we had and I handed him the receipt. There was apparently a mix up in the back and I think they actually skipped over the order.
Unfortunately the wait wasn't worth the meal. The French Dip was quite bland even with heavy dipping in the au jus. The Horseradish Roast Beef & Cheddar's bread was perhaps underdone as the bread kept sticking to the roof of the mouth.
Between the snafu of not getting the order, the service from the front counter and the lack of quality of food, we will be heading elsewhere for...
Read moreI left Brooklyn NY for a better life. I didn’t move to the suburbs to deal with ghetto experiences. The first point of contact should be a pleasant experience with a personable demeanor and if you don’t have that you should be in the back with very little customer contact. My daughter used to work here when it opened. There were great managers and great customers. That has since changed. Mac and cheese means fresh Mac and cheese not the almost gone part you scraped at the bottom of the pan. Then they catch an attitude like you asking for free food. You go to the pick up window you just sit there I have had to call in once and say hey you might want to check the line I’m here and there is severe behind me. I’ve also had to go inside before. I only come there for convenience literally only that and that’s about to change. Shay etc if you don’t like...
