China King — Restaurant in Adams Township

I usually enjoy ordering from here but one problem I’ve run into here is the older lady who works there tends to get loud when something is wrong. This was the 3rd time she has yelled at me when the problem has nothing to do with me. Today was the last time she will ever raise her voice at me. I ordered off DoorDash 2 chicken wings, some rice and fries. She called to tell me there was no chicken wings (okay fine) she tried to convince me to take something else in place of the wings when I said no thanks. She started getting annoyed and then when I said I couldn’t hear what she was saying, I am sorry that I had to say that twice, but I couldn’t hear what she was saying because of the tone she was using she got ruder and just pretty much told me to just cancel my order then. Why is it my fault you didn’t have the wings? And why getting rude that I just wanted the other 2 items. I hung up when she tried to keep getting loud with me and did what she said I told DoorDash what happened, and they agreed she was wrong for talking to me in a manner and completely refunded me. I’m sadly done with this place, sad because the food is actually really good even with just fried rice being $14, but the attitude ruins it fully. The first time a year ago she yelled at me by the way was because she forgot to put wings I orders in my bag and acted like I was trying to scam her. the other nice lady there at the time I’m guessing her daughter had to tell her it’s okay and calm down it probably went into another order by mistake. Sad to say you lost a customer due to the nasty attitude not going to yell at me like I’m a child, I wouldn’t even speak to a child like that especially when it’s because you are...

We always order from here always great service! But this time changed dramatically. We ordered two meals and L 21 in an L 23 and an extra egg roll, well when I got there the lady asked me what I order I even showed her the paper that had our orders on. She said almost done, at the point I paid for it and waited about 10 mins. When I got back to give my friends there food it was all wrong. We got shrimp and noodles and vegetable lo mein and we did get three eggrolls. So I called back and I asked if I can return these meals for the ones that I paid for that I ordered. She got very nasty with us complained about giving us back the money and complaining that she had to put the food back. One that is disgusting to be put in food back when they sent it out to people that you don't know if they eat out of her not, not saying that we did! Two your a company you should not talking to customers in that kind of manner. All I wanted was to pick up the right food. Very unprofessional on there end. Instead of blaming the customer, you should have apologized and helped the sistuation out. Will never be...

We ordered a pp platter, general, pineapple chicken and chow mein. Half of our order was incorrect, and it was all bad.

** General Tsos is what it is, but this was mushy and not good. 2 stars for it at least being a tiny bit spicy.

Hot and sour soup was just gross, and we got 2 servings for some reason.

** pu pu platter was not good. We got a large container of a cornstarch sweet sauce which could be a sweet and sour or duck sauce. I just dumped it on everything. The egg rolls were weirdly mush on the inside. Chicken too dry to swallow.

pineapple chicken We got some kind of slimy, plain steamed chicken. No pineapples or anything like it. I don't think there was a sauce.

chow mein We got a mixed protein, slimy protein and veg mix. No chow mein.

Total with tip, it was $70 for food...
