Carnitas Don Alfredo Bensenville — Restaurant in Addison Township

Went in at open 8am ordered pound of carnitas, pound buche, asked for both cut small when I got home was not done as ordered. I live 5 minutes away, meat was luke warm had to warm it up. Carnitas are delicious though even after reheating. Home made tortillas same, not warm. Ordered pound of barbacoa for price not worth it, taste is not great. The other thing paying $5 for cilantro and onion for the prices being charged for carnitas is not good.

I have been a customer of melrose park locations on 25th since it opened and usually everything is hot. Maybe because this location is smaller and trying to be efficient that food is not...

Update I walked in and the lady at the counter doesn't speak English so instead of telling someone else to take my order (a pound of carnitas) that's what I told her, she just answered the phone and proceeded to take a phone order..

Got ignored for about 5 minutes and I left.

Food may be good there but if you don't speak Spanish don't bother you'll probably get ignored.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this location. This location was my first Don Alfredo experience & now that I’ve visited the other location I can say with confidence that this location is the best

I’ve eaten here almost everyday this week and I look forward to going back as soon as the food is gone 😅
