Tacos El Tio — Restaurant in Addison Township

Had the three taco plate with rice and beans. The chicken and pork were good, the carne asada was not fresh and was full of gristle ugh - poor quality steak that was not chopped up as a proper carne asada taco should be. The cashier and the server were okay they did make sure to check up on me. No refill on horchata, no complimentary chips & salsa, I was given a small white dish one quarter full of a greenish creamy liquid, I was later told it was guacamole by the server. Maybe it was a guacamole sauce? Never before seen guacamole sauce and I have been eating Mexican food for forty plus years. Love authentic taquerias, can't say I...

Tried this spot based off of Google reviews and was not disappointed. We ordered the pork taco tuesday special, chicken tamales and horchata. All were delicious, generously portioned and made to order very quickly. Pork tacos had pineapple on them (yum!) and the tamales were enormous! Food was hot and ready. Ordered the taco dinner with cabeza tacos. And they were fantastic and fresh with cilantro and onions. Sauces they came with were also fresh and delicious, no weird taste like they have been in the fridge for too long. Mexican rice was fresh and good. Beans were pretty decent although the cheese wasnt quite melted but i dont really care about that. Hopefully if i am back this way i’ll stop and get some more...
