Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Addison Township

Terrible service on behalf of the manager at this location. High sprung, unprofessional and should not hold a manager position. Brought my children to get ice-cream and ordered 2 large! Dipped cones and received 2 small cones. I asked why they're so small and was told they're a large. I asked the manager and the girl walked up to him turned around and said, the manager said they're a large and we can't give you more ice-cream sorry. I said Ma'am, I asked to speak with the manager please tell him to come talk to me. He opens the drive-thru window and I quote " Those are large cones, but give me them I'll add more if you want!". After a very brief and unprofessional interaction I declined additional service and left this location. Every time I come to this location there is always this Latina female with the most ugliest attitude, you can see it in her face not wanting to be there. She looks at you like as if you’re bothering her. She has no enthusiasm for what she is doing smh. 1/8/24 I went and there was a supervisor overlooking her and for the first time I got a “have a goodnight!” But you can see it in her face that girl was struggling to have a smile/be nice and show enthusiasm all at the same 🤦‍♀️. This place is a hit or miss. There are times when the regular vanilla ice cream taste good and others it taste really bad as if the owner dilutes it, it totally changes the flavor. at times I get a chocolate dipped cone and the chocolate can be either really thick or so diluted I can see right thru it and when you question why the change in flavor all you get is rolling of the eyes of the girls that work there and they call the manager and all he says is the machine is broke! really?? why don't you tell us that the flavor has changed because the machine is broke!!!
