Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Addison Township

Let me begin by telling my experience from last night tune in because this is a review you want to read and hear,

To begin my meal last night, I began eating the rice, and I could tell it was undercooked. There was some pieces that were hard, and possibly stale, and even a ball of rice inside this pile of rice. This was an instant red flag to me, I could tell the queso it was so old it’s almost lost flavor. I later got bad stomach pains.

The staff then said we’re all out of chips due to being shortstaffed, but that doesn’t excuse having old rice out, very bad bacteria can grow inside of old rice .

Fast-forward to today, we go in to tell them about the issue, and the whole time the manager, you can hear her just whispering stuff to the staff like oh, tell them that they have to order the quesadilla on the app, a.k.a. she didn’t wanna remake anything and they wanted to just hang out and not work during their shift around this time of 11 o’clock because it was completely dead in there so eventually she’s like OK and they made it after a lot of back-and-forth.

I will be honest today’s food is a lot better so far the queso it’s a little runny the quesadilla was amazing. The chips seem good they’re missing a little bit of the lime. The rice is much better.

Now keep in mind I consider not writing this review but due to how bad the rice was and what exactly happened inside the establishment with the manager today at 11 o’clock February 7, 2024 I decided it’d best let other customers know what kind of service they will get from this manager and the unaccountability from the staff, if the food is...

Went here on my lunch break and when I walked in there was 6 people ahead of me and three people walking in after me so there a long line. They had five workers behind the counter but only one was actually working the line. The other workers were just standing there talking to each other. I ended up leaving because by the time I got my food and left I wouldn’t have had time to even eat before my break was over. I have gone to this chipotle about 6 times and everytime I experience the same thing. One time there wasn’t a line and the workers still just stood there and talked to each other and I had to wait till a worker that was in the back came out to help me get my food. I think it’s very disrespectful to one not greet your customers and two continue talking to each other instead of helping the customer get their food. I understand places have certain roles to play but you should step in if there is a long line and if your other employee is not there to do their role. I really like chipotle but sadly I don’t plan to go back to this...

This Villa Park location is the worst location I've been to, and not just based on one visit. This is my third time in a row with the same issue and it's solely off the lack of guac on a veggie bowl. Three times I've come in to get my daughter a veggie bowl. She's vegan, and gets no meat, veggies or dairy. It's a bowl of rice and beans, mild salsa, guac and lettuce. Not even joking, the portion of guac has been sadly lacking the past two visits, but today...today's visit has determined we are never coming back to this location. No joke - she got maybe three tablespoons. If you aren't sure, go look at an actual tablespoon for measuring. This is a joke. The guac is the ONLY REASON she loves coming here, and today I had to pay an extra $1.95 for a side of guac because there was hardly any on the bowl. And because I work around here as well, it appears I'll be directing the office I work in to the next closest location as well. You should send your employees over to the Addison location. They know what the hell they are...
