I had my son's 7th Birthday there on Sunday and let me start off saying, booking the party was nice and easy they walked me through prices and different packages available which was very nice and they were very kind and courteous on the phone. The waitress that was given to us her name was Nie she was great helped us when needed she continued to ask us through the party if we needed anything else and she was also very great in providing us with balloons. The kids had a blast which was my main concern especially since they all ranged in different ages from 2 to 17. It was a perfect place for each of their different age groups. The downside that made me not so happy was the room given to us was way too small I had 14 children present with two adults with them also including a few extra guests with older children it was just way to tight to move which made our waitresses job even harder to the point I just took over and started tending to the party. I was told by the Manager that it was the biggest room they had prior to booking the party and it would house 40+ guests so I was disappointed coming to see it the day of and realizing it would not be the best choice. My advice to you if your planning on hosting your childs party there I would stop in and ask for a tour of the party rooms if your not familiar with how things are size wise. The only other complaint I would add is they should like most places due to safety issues allow parents to ride with children and not charge them an extra fee especially since most who host parties there are spending alot of money to begin with. Besides those two things I was happy my son enjoyed his day with his family and friends and would recommend bringing your children there weather it be for a party or just a day out for some fun they offer so much to do that they are sure to have...
Read moreWe had so much fun here and the place has alot of activities for little ones. The reason for the 2 stars is parents, try your hardest to keep eyes on your children at all times in the attractions where adults are not allowed. My child was in the bounce slide and I hear her screaming. Another kid was on top of her in a chokehold. She later said she was trying to cover her mouth too. Not allowing adults in to keep eyes on their children ends up in situations like we where in. I was fuming and the parents apologized but what urks me is the staff member on duty didn't even notice. I also dont like getting that upset with strangers but panic set in. Shouldnt of been a situation to even be put in (either of us) So if we as parents can not go in, staff should be there watching or one member at the top. Little ones are still learning to manage their emotions and we all know most can resort to hitting, biting, kicking and yesterday I learned chokeholds.... It comes with the territory or learning. Now if they where in the other attraction with the tunnels, slides, etc where you can't lock eyes on them 24/7 that would of been way worse as I wouldn't of been able to hear her crying or see what was happening. I firmly believe atleast 1 parent should be allowed to attend and follow their child for saftey concerns. We have been to plenty of places where this was allowed. I sacrificed having back pain so my children weren't potentially being the ones pushing or hitting when smaller and making sure they where safe. I've also helped other children who where scared and couldn't find their way out. Now that it happened to us, I can now see how this set up here is flawed and should be changed. #1 reason being for...
Read moreThis was our first visit to Safari Land. I have a five-year-old granddaughter and I’m always concerned in large spaces, that are overcrowded and I’ll lose sight of her in the Jungle Gym area. But I was blown away at how everything is so sectioned off and there is an employee supervising very closely everything going on at each and every location. They don’t walk around aimlessly, they are focused at their station and keep a very close eye on the children. I was so impressed. Everyone was so very nice. No waiting lines. It truly is the best kept secret! I love that. They also have a restaurant area, slots, and things for adults. We obviously didn’t spend time there, but I was happy it was provided and will definitely be of interest when we come in a group with our family members. It was just really wonderful and I am so glad that we went. Shout out to Mason who was working the bounce house. He did such a great job monitoring the children making sure they abided by the play time line in the bounce house and was just so nice and so patient with all the children. My granddaughter does not have any siblings and when she went in, there was no one else to play with her. Mason let 2 others kiddos her age join in on her “ allotted time” with her so she wouldn’t have to be alone. My granddaughter was so happy about that! They all played so nicely together. She had playmates! He was awesome! So thank you, Mason! For these reasons, we will definitely be back...
