They should add an option to give a zero star rating. Brought my lady here for Valentineās Day thinking it would be a wonderful Italian meal. Saw the menu was pricey so I figured it would be a great meal, Boy was I wrong. First I asked if there was a drink menu as online they made it seem like they had specialty drinks. The waitress told me itās a bar, I could order whatever I wanted. Okay? The food started okay with the bruschetta and the prosciutto and cheese platter(looked like toddler put it together). Tried to see if the waitress could tell me the brand of prosciutto, and to my surprise with it being an Italian restaurant, she said I donāt know and moved on. Little did I know, all would get worse. I got the veal parm which was dry and was served with just a handful of pasta. My lady got the seafood pasta and asked for Alfredo sauce. The pasta and seafood were literally swimming like cereal in the most runny Alfredo sauce Iāve ever had. And you could tell theyād just dumped frozen icy seafood into the sauce making it watery and fishy. Why was this place more expensive than Cheesecake Factory???? We wanted to take the food to go. Iād already seen another couple ask to get it packaged and it was taken to the back and brought out in to go containers. When we asked to get it to go, the waitress walked over with containers??? After reading other reviews, Iām guessing that had to do with me being a minority? I genuinely thought Olive Garden was the worst Italian food Iād...

I agreed and we went. Immediately the hostess was a tall bald guy who was delightful, and sweet, we told him we never been in this area before and he thanked us for coming and sat us, our waiter Mario was funny and very informative with almost everything because again we never have been here before, we got three appetizers because why not? The mussels in marinara sauce were tasty and fresh, the bruschetta was just beautiful as I never had it before, and the calamari was amazing, tender and not full of batter. Also wanted to add that there ābread basketā was freaking delicious, they put fresh garlic in the butter which melted with the warm bread. And through all of this the staff were on top of it, making sure our waters were full and our table was clear when we were finished. So our entrees were amazing. My husband got the veal in a sage sauce, it was tender and full of flavor. I got the linguine and clams in a white sauce and the pasta was homemade and the sauce was FULL of FRESH cut garlic, I was obsessed! I will 10/10 recommend to anyone and make the 35 minute drive from aurora to try different items on their menus ! I forgot to take a pic of our entrees because i was...
Read moreWas here on Monday evening on an invitation from a senior friend and his wife who has frequented this place for years. It was packed and the parking lot was full. Had some great red wine, shared an appetizer plate and warm bread and butter before I ordered the delicious Salmone Alla Mugnaia fish plate. Side salad came first, it was delicious. I've tried Salmon at many places and here it was perfectly browned and seasoned and the sautéed spinach was perfectly silky (not dry) and garlicky. Most places don't serve sautéed spinach anymore so I thought it was a treat to have a spinach side with the Salmon. I loved that they also served a little side of penne pasta and marinara sauce with the Salmon dinner. A single freshly made (not frozen) cannoli for dessert was perfectly served and decorated to end the night. I had always passed by this place for many years but never stopped in. It was a very small and cozy restaurant and it seemed regulars come here a lot as everyone greeted each other by name. All in all, great people to meet here and an all around excellent authentic Italian restaurant and menu. A must try and their lunch menu is definitely worth a look at too. Compliments...
