"Bar Rescue Needed"!!! 3 times the wait on a pickup food order from the wait time I was promised! One of two sandwiches ordered was missing! A friend saw the Dunkley's Tavern Facebook post about specials for Mardi Gras. I gave them a quick call to see what was up and get info. I was told when I asked how long for an order about 15 minutes "lead time or wait time. My friends texted me their order, so when I called back, I again asked how long for an order to be made, I was again told about 15 minutes. I then put in our order. A burger, a Corned beef sandwich, two of the red beans & rice and a crabcake. I was told that someone would be right out to my car to collect my payment (I am short term disabled). I again asked how long the wait for the order would be and I was told it would be about 15 minutes, this was at 6:05pm. At 6:23 someone came out to collect my payment. They returned at 6:26 for me to sign the credit card receipt. I was then told it would be just a few minutes. They finally brought out our order at 6:47pm. Some 42 minutes after our order was put in. Almost 3 times the 15 minute wait that I was quoted 3 different times, including when I put in our order. Once I got home we discovered that the Corned Beef Sandwich was missing. I waited almost 3 times the quoted 15 minute wait only to find out that one of the sandwiches ordered wasn't in the order. When I called to address this, the manager didn't apologize for either the excessive wait, just that "they got really pounded", nor did the manager apologize for the missing sandwich and "would I be willing to take a credit for the missing sandwich. SERIOUSLY!!! You make me wait almost 45 minutes for an order you tell is gonna take 15 minutes, with no apologie, you then short my order and you want me to take a credit for someone's dinner. What do I do to feed them? If it was a dessert or appetizers that might make some sense. But it was a missing entre. Instead of offering to bring out a replacement I had to drive back to get my friend his dinner while mine sat at home and got cold. By the way, neither the burger, or corned beef were anything all that great, certainly not worth the 45minute wait. Nor was the crabcake which was indeterminate bland mush. The two orders of red beans and rice, were to spicy for me and both orders were lacking any of the more usual sauce or gravy that goes with red beans and rice. The food was not worth the $90 plus bill. Enough said. All of the people with the exception of the "manager" that I dealt with were very nice and polite. When I got back to pick up the missing Corned Beef sandwich, the nice young woman who brought it out was very apologetic. As I said to her, "did you pack the bag?" No was her reply. "Its not your...

We live in the neighborhood and first time here. Place is very clean. The owner came around before we ordered to greet us. We ordered the garlic parmesan wings for an appetizer. They were good but very salty. As far as beverages we had a beer, and a mixed drink, a soda, and water. Two of us ordered the featured cup of soup. We had two Dunkley burgers, one fish and chips, the other a chicken sandwich. Now for why I gave only 3 stars. This is a very pricey place. The sandwiches and entries include no soup, only fries with the sandwiches. Soup was beef barley and it was more a tomato based vegetable with some barley and loose hamburger meat for the beef. Our bill was $90. I find this extremely excessive. We could have gone to a Dappers, Highview, or 601 and got a full dinner for much less. I hope they make some changes to enable us to go out for a more affordable price to match...

My experience at Dunkleys was out of this world! I came here last night with my mom dad for our friends birthday 🎉🎁 🎂 celebration and honestly I can't wait to come back! Quote by mom to the chef " she's been to all the top notch restaurants her whole life Gibson's Tavern on Rush and many more but nothing compares to Dunkleys Mussles! I ordered the burger it turned out to be a double order a drink only $10 well done plain with just cheese and so did my dad and wow so good 🤩🤩 how could a burger 🍔🍔 be so good plain ?? We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a pint and lunch. It was our first visit to Dunkley’s. Overall we are very satisfied with the food and felt very welcomed by bartender Suhei. I had the Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My dining partner had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and loved it. Both sandwiches came with a mound of fries. I particularly appreciate Suhei’s ability to pour a “proper” pint of Guiness (20oz). She was patient and poured it the way Guiness is meant to be poured; with patience. Too many taverns that have draft Guiness do an awful job dispensing a pint. Suhei knows her stuff! For 3 pints and two sandwiches, the bill was just shy of $55. I think that’s good value for what we had. We will definitely be back!

It certainly is more of a tavern than a restaurant. It's not a large venue but enough to fit in about 130 people. It's a mix of 20 somethings to 60 something's. Everyone there was looking like they were having a good time and it was busy at 8pm on a Thursday. It's mildly upscale and the place was very clean and modern. The service was fantastic. The drink prices were average for the area. The food is good but 20% over priced for what it is. For example their plain hamburger is on a very nice bun with fresh veggies quality dill pickles on the side. They put two patties on it but they were from frozen and it was $11. The fries were soft and greasy. It's a nice place to hang out and relax. They didn't have any games to play which I like.
