Harold's chicken #41 Addison — Restaurant in Addison Township

The food is off the chain, however the service is another story. On May 1, 2022, I called in an order of 6 lemon pepper wings, 4 wings w/sauce & a large lemon pepper catfish nuggets at exactly 6pm (as I left O’hare). I was told 25 mins but wasn’t given my order until 1 hour and 7 mins later! And yes, I arrived on time.😩 The cashier was rude “cash or card” was her 1 liner to every customer and nothing more… except to customer she told needed to get exact change or pay with a card because she couldn’t give him $12 change if he paid with the $50 he was presenting. 😑 When the man who looked to be the owner/person in charge saw me waiting for my order 30mins AFTER my arrival, he made inquiries to the cooking area. I shared my disappointment to which he responded by telling me about his order not being correct “at the depot… we were 15 orders behind when you called”. 😕 “Sir, between your unprofessional cashier to your response, I’m just sharing what is an issue. I don’t want anything besides for you to be aware because this isn’t good for business. Had I been told there was a longer wait during my call or arrival, that would have made a difference”. He didn’t seem to care to hear about my experience but “added two wings to your order of 4”, when an acknowledgement would have been sufficient.😒 Again, the food doesn’t disappoint but the service is a cliche’ of...

This place is terrible I made a order today I had order six wings salt and pepper mild sauce with an order of okra then I order another six wing with salt and pepper and mild sauce and the third order I ordered was a fish with fries and okra no sauce I asked specifically for my fish not to be overcooked not to be cooked hard not to be cooked crunchy I picked up my order came back to work my fish was overcooked hard the two orders of okra was in the same tray and they were separate orders of okra I talked to the supervisor / owner of the establishment in Itasca restaurant on harold number 41 Addison and this guy told me that I could have took my hand and separated the two order of okras that was in the same tray he then told me that he never knew that my fish supposed to be cook soft. I asked him what kind of place are they running do you not train your people to take the order exactly how is given. he then told me no they do not do that. if they don't put it on a receipt that your fish should be cooked soft or hard he cook it hard that was the exact word to me and I asked him can I bring the food back to get a refund he said I left with the food I should have checked the food before I left so no I couldn't get no refund . HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Called the order in for 2 of the 4 wings and a pizza puff with fries. Walked in as a first time customer, music was BLASTING! As I enter the cashier yelled in the back, "you don't know dark from white meat!" Their was an exchange of cuss words and laughter between the 2 ladies there. Possible teenagers or between the ages of 18-21. From what it appeared, they were the only 2 ladies present and unprofessional.

They didn't supply eating utensils or napkins in the bags and the meat was EXPIRED!!!! They smothered the meat with sauce to hide the smell apparently. They're serving meat that has gone BAD, it was very very dark brown throughout & the odor was Terrible! My bag wasn't even hot. I should have known it wasn't cooked fresh to order! I nearly vomited in my mouth at first bite! Threw out the entire order. Their flyer even reads "Addison" but clearly they're located in Schaumburg and Itasca. I was at the Itasca location. 27 bucks for garbage! Their hours of operation online note "open 24 hours" Which is not their actual hours! They're even screwing up the advertisement. People already sick enough from covid now food poisoning is in play from the bad meat they're giving out! Never going back!...
