Website hours say they are open until 7pm. Not even 5pm and tried to push on door but it wouldn't budge. Turns out that you have to "pull" the door, not '"push" it. Next time I want chicken soup, I'll have to remember that.

But seriously, Mario's is great. If you know what you want, they'll make it to your taste. If you don't know what you want, ask Joe or Tony to suggest something special. The sandwiches are delicious (I recommend the paninis), the soups are tasty (cream of spinach with asiago, especially), and the homemade chocolate chip cookies are the best. And the staff are the nicest around!

This place has been a Bensenville tradition for 25 years and is run by the same two brothers who opened it back before the turn-of-the-century. If you are anywhere on the west side of O'Hare and looking for someplace to eat, stop by Mario's. You won't be disappointed (unless you try to push the door instead...

My Favorite Sub Place!! I try a lot of sub places, but Mario's is, hands down, my favorite. Not only is the quality and taste of the sub amazing, but the value is great too. Their two sub sizes are 6" and 10", but it's not like a Subway 6". The sandwich is so thick and packed with meat and cheese that you're probably getting more food from their 6" than a Subway Foot long, and for about the same price. If you're not into Subs, they also have some amazing pasta dishes too.

If you're going there for lunch and you're in a hurry, I'd recommend calling ahead to place your order. They are pretty quick at making sandwiches, but they tend to get packed during lunch time and they can only make the sandwiches so fast. All the employees are extremely friendly and make an effort to get to know you if you come in a few times. Don't miss out on this...

I love this place for lunch during the week at work. Super affordable, better than Ozzie's, and a lot more options. They've got all kinds of pasta salads and potato salad, like 6 homemade soups everyday and great sandwiches. Their chicken noodle and vegetable soups are my favorite. I love that they have a hot and mild giardiniera option, bc I love it but I don't like too spicy. Customer service here is top notch, and they even deliver. They are a family owned deli and everyone here is super nice. I recommend calling ahead to place your order, or you may have to wait a few minutes for it to be ready.
