Scooby's Red Hots — Restaurant in Addison Township

DO NOT ORDER AHEAD OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!

I have 45 minutes for lunch...

ORDERED AHEAD AND TOLD READY IN 10 MINUTES. GOT THERE IN 10 MINUTES BUT STILL HAD TO WAIT 15 MINUTES IN LINE TO GET TO THE REGISTER TO PICK UP MY ORDER....

But if that were not enough, THEY DID NOT HAVE MY FULL ORDER READY!

Don't order ahead for lunch here, they have zero consideration for your limited time to pick up lunch.

The food may be delicious; but not worth a 25 minute investment in time when you have to work on a limited lunch break.

If they had any consideration whatsoever, they would have a pick up area or, at the very least, shout out "Any Pick-Ups" from the register like more organized take out places do.

I will never order ahead from Scooby's in Elmhurst again

Its a shame that the service at this place deprecated so much after the original...

I've lived in the area over thirty years and this place definitely must have changed owners again, it has a number of times throughout the years. I went in last Saturday I asked for the usual two hot dogs fries well-done everything on it. A gentleman told another fella to put the fries that were already cooked back in the oil in Spanish. Everybody speak Spanish now! I've worked in the restaurant industry before and everybody knows when a fry is already cooked and they put it back in the oil what happened to it it was awful and because of this I don't think I'm ever going back to Scooby's! I always throw my money back in the town that I live in but this place has done me wrong one too many times! To me the quality of service to the customer...

Sat down to eat,literally watched the older white guy walk outside grab a broom and started to sweep.then he was grabbing the neon sign trying to get it to turn on. This would normally be fine. Until I watched him walk behind the counter and put his filthy unwashed hands in a large tray of fries and eat a few. That same tray had fries served to a customer a minute later. I was so pissed off it disgusted me. Also watched the same guy grab a napkin and half add wiped down a table. Someone please teach this place about washing hands and properly cleaning,disinfecting a table...
