Starbucks — Restaurant in Addison Township

Hate to do it but Starbucks didn’t take me serious. The manager Nicole did not do her job as a manager and did not reassure quality. I just picked up my coffee and noticed there was a blue plastic inside my drink. I got home and noticed this and called it in. The manager Nicole offered me another drink and leave it as that. I then asked how their ice is distributed because I guessed it was a bags of frozen ice but she did say they have their own ice machines. So then I said why is there a blue plastic that looks similar to a bag. Nicole only spoke to me on the phone and when I went into the store to show them the blue plastic on my drink. Nicole was hiding in back and made the poor baristas take care of me. They need to take responsibility and do a better job with inspecting...

I live near by, at times during the pandemic visited daily and was always very happy with the service. The women were very friendly, prompt and the coffee was always perfect. I drink the same thing but my wife changes her drinks and both of us were satisfied. The staff has changed and now this location has me very confused. Having come back from a cross-country trip and having paid a very similar price for my grande iced coffee w/almond milk i was surprised for the additional upcharge. This review comes after a few other bad experiences at this location. The beverage served to me this day is milk and as such i can't taste any coffee. This Starbucks has been fine and is usually very delicious as Starbucks tend to be but today was strange, while my latte was fine my fiancés brown sugar oat milk espresso was not the same story, as shown in the photos below the milk was very expired and chunky and the first sip I took was horrible, sour and just straight up tasting like sour coffee. This would’ve been fine if we didn’t swing back around to ask for another one and the person at the window told us “oatmilk doesn’t go bad like that, I probably didn’t shake it enough” the second drink we got was… the same story, sour and strong.
