Wow, I cannot believe the manager Domingo at this Taco Bell asked my wife to pull food out of the garbage at our house and bring it to him to prove he got our order wrong!!! Even though the receipt shows he got our order wrong!!!
My wife purchased 1 Naked Chicken Chalupa combo box and 4 Naked Chicken Chalupa (not combos) for our family and a dozen tacos, drink... They asked spicy or mild for the chalupa and she said mild cause we were feeding two 6 year olds and a 9 year old. They got home and my youngest two kids both took a couple bites before they realized they gave us spicy chalupas and one threw up and the other started gagging from the heat in her throat. I took a bite and it was hot! I looked at the receipt and the first line item said 1 Mild NK CHKN BX then a few lines below it said 4 Nkd Chkn Chlpa. So they did hear Mild, but only chose to give us the mild one with the combo box.
I called the number on the receipt right after several times, but it either went dead after a while or went to a fax machine, so I called corporate. They said someone will get back to me within 3 business days.
My wife was going to be in that neighborhood again that evening so she stopped in to tell them what happened. The manager said she should bring the food back and he will refund the money...HAHAHAHAHA!!! She said part of the food is in the toilet, another part is in her kids stomach, and the rest of the food is in the garbage. He told her he will not do anything until she brings the food back. She said the $12 doesnt mean anything to her, its the fact that they made a mistake and want her to pay for it by driving back home, getting the food out of the garbage, bringing it back, and show it to him for the $12. She then said you would rather lose a customer, get trashed online, risk a lawsuit over my kids getting sick over the $12. Domingo, the manager said yes. I hope he is authorized to speak on behalf of the owner, because my wife drew out the road-map and now I am following it!!!
As a business owner myself, I know better than most that its not the problem that loses a client, its how you respond to the problem. Either Domingo needs training or a career that does not include public relations!!!
I hope no one who reads this is comfortable going to a restaurant that is ok with treating their customers the way their manager treated my...
Read moreif I could give negative stars I would! 1st of all when I had a question regarding the $5.00 packs the lady with the headphone acted like I was bothering her because she let out a huge sigh.... then after I had placed my work order on the kiosk the same big sigh lady told me that they didn't have any of the drinks that I had ordered so she gave me fountain pop cups ... well not 2 minutes later she handed me the iced coffee I ordered and the baja freeze I ordered... oh so I guess they did have them... When my food order was ready I was handed a plastic bag and was handed my food oh I have to bag it too.... the lady that handed me my order threw my order on the counter, I also asked for a printed receipt to which they never gave me and then proceeded to speak in spanish and laugh... guess I was the wrong nationality, so needless to say I will NEVER return there again.. this place...
Read moreSo for the past 2 months I have gotten screwed over 4 times mind you I've gotten food from here almost 20 times. Either my food is wrong, the Tacos and burritos are half filled. If I order regular tacos they give me supreme tacos. Or like today they forget part of my order. Today I ordered a combo, 2 extra tacos and 3 soft tacos. Upon getting home after my family starts eating we find that the 3 soft tacos where missing and once again regular tacos are supreme. I called the store and got no answer. I am very fed up with this location. Wood Dale, Bensenville residents take the extra couple of minutes and go to another location. Oh also I order on the app every time. It shows that these incompetent workers do not know how to read...
