Big Yummy Bakery & Market — Restaurant in Addison

My group had lunch at Big Yummy and noticed this off to the corner with a sign indicating “Grand Opening”. We weren’t entirely sure if this was the location for the restaurant, but decided to check it out after. Once we entered, we found that it had opened recently on March 24. I have never been to a Venezuelan market before. It doesn’t necessarily have many pantry items so don’t expect too much, but maybe it’ll pick up once it gets more customers.

The coffee station only serves typical coffee; it doesn’t provide any espressos or lattes. There’s also a frozen section for additional items like mango pulp, soursop, tamarind, yucca root, etc. My favorite part of this store is the bakery. I ended up buying some galletas (10) that didn’t have a price tag on the wooden cart. I assumed I’d be paying around the same price as the listed items on the cart, but it was around $9. En comparación con otros bakerys regulares los precios son un poco elevados aunque no es menos cierto q sus productos cuentan con una muy buena calidad . Aunque a veces esos se pierde a causa de el mal servicio en mi caso fui a comprar un postre al bakery y la atención fue nefasta la señora q me atendió estaba hablando por teléfono y ni siquiera prestaba atención a lo q le decía no fue amable y mucho menos educada y cuando me dio mi pedido todo estaba tirado pedí una torta q se destrozo totalmente y ni siquiera cuchara o servilleta me puso algo q yo sabía q pasaría puesto q ella tenia todo su atención en la llama en la q estaba con sus audífonos .
