I hate to be this kind of person, but this location really needs to fix some things with their machine. I've been coming here for years, but after this time I won't be coming back for a while. The softball machine is practically unhittable. I had the speed set to 50 mph for softball, and even after trying to adjust the height , I was practically standing in front of the batters box and in the middle of the cage before I could even possibly make contact with the ball. Baseball seemed to work fine, but the softball machine was unbearable. Along with this, only one machine was operating at the time. I understand machines go down, but if you do have operating machines, they need to work for both sports, and not to the point where I have to stand in the others batters box 12 feet away from the machine just to make contact. (And this isn't the first time something has been wrong with the softball machines either.) I tried to talk to someone on my way out, but no one was at the front desk to talk to, so I just left. I really hope they get things fixed for all the girls who wanna practice their swings, but I was definitely extremely annoyed by my experience and won't be coming back...

Alright, let me tell you, today was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at any D-Bat location. I'm still pretty annoyed about it.
I walked up to the front desk, ready to hit some balls, and what do I see? Five kids just glued to their phones. I stood there, waiting for someone to even acknowledge me, hoping for a simple "hey there!" or "how can I help?" Instead, after what felt like forever, one of them finally looks up and just goes, "whatcha need?" Seriously?
So, I asked for two credits for the slowpitch machine. I swiped one credit, and the machine just... died. Lights on, but no balls coming out. I peeked in the little window and saw four balls just sitting there, not moving.
Back I go to the front desk, telling them the machine isn't working. No "oops, sorry about that!" No "let me take a look." The guy just grabs some keys, still on his phone, slowly walks over to the machine, gives it one turn with the key, and casually says, "it should be good now."
The whole thing was a total letdown. No apologies, no real help, just a bunch of people who clearly didn't care. Not the D-Bat experience I'm...
Read moreI don't normally write reviews but I wanted to deter at least one person from giving D-Bat Addison a try. I have taken my son many times and there are usually only 2 cages of the 3 open. The same was true of our experience tonight. We tried both cages and had a terrible experience with each one. On the first machine the balls were coming in extremely high or extremely low...I'm talking in the dirt low. Using the up and down buttons didn't work either. Then the machine would run out of balls half way through a credit. The second machine only had enough for one round of balls before picking up and none of those were able to be hit because they were also way too high, every single one. It was frustrating and a complete waste of time and money. I told my concerns to the young lady working at the desk and all she could say was "uh huh, I'm sorry. I've adjusted those machines so many times today. I'll let the manager know." I gave her my card which still had 10 credits left and let her know to tell the manager that D-Bat Allen never...
