Cronies Sports Grill — Restaurant in Agoura Hills

I had just had a terrible experience at this place. I usually go to a different Cronies and I enjoy it very much, but I thought I'd give this one a try for kicks - a little change in scenery never hurts. I was there with a couple of friends having drinks. We closed out our tab at about 8pm and were planning to head home. Right as we were about to leave, another friend of ours walks in the door, so we sit back down and have a couple more drinks with him. Everything was great up to this point. The trouble occurred when we closed out our second tab at about 9pm (one hour after closing our first tab). The bill arrived, and there was clearly an error. They billed us for 24 beers! This is in the course of one hour, mind you. I explained that there was clearly a mistake, as we had only been drinking for one additional hour. The manager came to our table and proceeded to tell us how drunk we were, and we need to leave. Meanwhile, I'm hardly "drunk", and I'm trying to explain to him that it's impossible for us to drink 24 beers in one hour. He wouldn't listen. He treated us like we were drunken idiot scum, despite our clear and coherent explanation. I personally believe that these jerks think they can take advantage of drunk people. They see that you've had a few drinks, and they add a couple more to your bill because, well, "I'm sure these drunkies won't notice". Now ask yourself, does this review appear to be written by someone who is heavily intoxicated? It has only been 30 minutes since I left Cronies. I wasn't drunk then, and I'm not drunk now - but the manager would insist that I'm too drunk? He'll overcharge be for drinks that I did not have? Screw you. Pissed me off enough to write a bad review. Never will I return here, and I suggest no one goes to this Cronies. Go to the Newbury Park location, they're respectful and bill you correctly. Bad business practices at this place, and the manager was very rude....

I never take the time to leave reviews but this was honestly just horrible. Terrible customer service, our waiter never once looked at me face to face when I was ordering. Never checked in on us once until she brought the bill (It was even not busy, there was all of 2 other people there). The food was even worse. My boyfriend got a bland chili cheese dog with fries that were undercooked and unseasoned. I ordered half buffalo wings and half dry rub…barely any sauce on these wings and the dry rub…was not a rub…just fried salted chicken skin. It was just so disappointing. Really just a drinking crowd bar making a attempt at serving bad bar food. Service was poor. Seems like little to no training of their waitstaff. We had to ask for our bill, then take the bill and credit card back up to the waitress. Menu was boring, unappealing and made simple for easy staffing. Lots of noise and televisions which helps take your mind off the poor choice of food you selected, as if any other result was an option. Every food item was generated from a frozen box.
