Frankly, if I could give 6 stars I would. The food was that. good. We are from the Bay Area and we are spoilt for Thai food. Last year, in Porter Ranch we were kind of disillusioned with the Thai scene there but when we moved to West Hills, O-R Thai was recommended by quite a few of our friends. Finally, we made it for lunch, and Boy!! were we glad we did!!. First, the Singha beer was ice cold, very cold for a hot day, just how beers should be served. The first gulp down the throat was bliss. We ordered the Tom Kha clear soup and it was deliciooooussss. I mean I have had this multiple times, but the ingredients were fresh and the soup was tasty. The two main dishes, Pad See Ew Chicken and the Choo Chee Salmon were truly exceptional. Mr "T" the owner threw in a bowl of extra rice when we packed the leftovers and then to top it all he gave us the Roti Dessert, (don't even know the name), which was fluffy roti with powdered sugar on top, rich for me but so delicious. Truly worth going there if you are in the area. You will be very impressed!!! I am going back ASAP. Thanks Mr. T for an exceptional Lunch experience. Keep smiling!!!

Ended up going to O-R Authentic Thai Cuisine last night due to its good reviews and promise of Thai orange chicken, pineapple shrimp fried rice, and crab wontons with real crab. Needless to say my family and I were surprised to see some of the exact same decor and recipes from the “White Elephant” restaurant that closed in the The Whole Foods parking lot a few years back. But the chefs are back and dare I say better than ever! The orange chicken is new, but a nice take and some of the crispiest chicken I’ve had in awhile, although, I think it might have benefited from the traditional Sichuan peppers found in most lesser orange chicken for that kick. The crab wonton was the best we have ever had. Figures since using real crab elevates everything, but I digress. At $12 a spurge but worth every penny. Going to have to try the Pad Thai and more authentic dishes next time, but sure they are great and don’t let the $20 per entree fool you these are dishes meant to be shared and split. End of the day glad you all are back, cheers!

OMG! So good! I saw #howkeveats video on this place and thought I would likely never be in that area since I live in Southern Orange County; when we finished our day at Channel Islands NP today and decided to drive home but were super hungry I remembered this spot. So so glad! First, the Pad Thai was one of the best I have had. Sauce was delicious and the noodles were chewy, not overcooked mush, and the shrimp were crisp and delicious. The whole dish was beautiful and scrumptious. The green Curry with chicken...wow! The veggies were crisp and tender with green beans, Thai eggplant, red and green peppers and bamboo shoots. The sauce was the most beautiful vibrant green and it was one of the best I have had anywhere; they definitely make their own Curry paste. The Thai coconut soup with chicken and mushrooms...again, some of the best I have had. The fried spring rolls were good as well. All around a great Thai spot in Tbousand Oaks...in a mall...

My boyfriend Richard ordered here tonight at 6pm. We were told 25 minutes and it would be ready. We got there after 30 minutes and it wasn't ready yet, but our thai iced teas were. We came back 15 minutes later and it still wasn't ready. We literally had to wait inside the restaurant for another 10-15 minutes before they brought out our food. AN HOUR AFTER ORDERING!!! I told the gentleman who brought us our food how long we've been waiting and that he should've told us that it was going to be that long and not 25 minutes. They were not busy, they only had one table dining in. So why did it take an hour to make some food? Just 2 dishes at that.. -.- On top of that by time we got home our drinks were all watered down for how long they were sitting there in the restaurant. My boyfriends food was fine but my sweet and sour pork was overcooked and dry as hell. I didn't like anything about it the pineapple in it tasted rotten and fermented. Overpriced food and terrible service. Did not get an apology from the server or anything. First time here and won't be coming back after this experience....

I work at the mall and needed to drop off my bank deposit which is located inside. For some reason Mall Management locks all the doors so that no one can get inside but usually the doors by the maintenance office are open. Today everything was completely locked up and I was tired as I had just finished working open to close and just wanted to go home. I figured I could go to the Thai restaurant and go into the mall through that way but the gentleman working said I wasn’t allowed inside the restaurant for some reason even though I had a mask as well as my work name tag, and it literally would have been five steps for me to get inside the mall and I would’ve never bothered them again. I really didn’t think it would have been a big deal especially considering I work at the mall and have enjoyed food there multiple times which makes this experience even more disappointing. I am sitting here typing this while I’m waiting for someone from security to unlock the doors and let me in, whereas if I had been allowed inside OR I would already be on the road on...
