When I order pizza delivery, I pay my driver a minimum of 10 bucks or more. I expect the food to arrive in a reasonable amount of time and hot. Tonight I ordered 40 bucks of food for friends and family while we hung ornaments on the tree. Lauren said it would be 50 minutes.
The food arrived 1hour 40 minutes and ice cold. I found out later that its because they give the delivery driver too many orders to deliver and when he finally gets there, your food is ice cold and tastes like leftovers.
I finally decided to call and tell the manager and ask why this keeps happening. I spoke to Jessica. She told me that I was lying about how long it took to get my food and that cold or not, did not justify any course of action. She never apologized and told me that it was my fault for calling during their "busy hours". When I told her that I was not satisfied with how she is handling the problem, she hung up on me!
I highly advise anyone reading this to reconsider ordering from here, because you don't know what your gonna get. They are inconsistent and lack management, customer service, or a decent care and respect for their long time customers.
PS - they have 123 negative reviews on Yelp all saying the same thing.. that they hang up on their customers, pizzas arrive cold and that...
Read moreI am originally from South Jersey and I LOVE the food at Winner's, it is always a huge excitement when I tell my kids we are getting food from there.
BUT, it is literally 40% of the time there is some mistake or issue with their delivery. Of the Twelve(12) orders I have made in the last Five(5) months, Five(5) of them had something wrong enough for me to have to complain about it. It might be extra toppings we never asked for on a Sub or Pizza, the complete failure to deliver the a specific item, or similar.
It is a shame, they always try to make it right and "fix it", but they forget that we are ordering as a family. We want to eat as a family.
All in all, great food, sub-par customer service, that, if they fixed it, would catapult this place to one of the best...
Read moreTried this family owned pizza place yesterday, I was delighted!
Although I prefer the deep dish pizza from Chicago, this thin crust pizza was excellent. The crust was delicious and cooked to perfection. The toppings were copious and fresh. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese.
I also had the meatball appetizer, they are outstanding! The marinara was also very tasty.
The store, kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and well stocked. Great care seems to be a part of everything they do here.
Now I have a new, favorite pizza place. Can't wait to try their chicken parmesan sandwich!
Sorry, I ate most of the meatballs before snapping...
